My phone says it will take over 3hours to fully charge. DO NOT BUY, its a waste of money.UPDATE:There is a warranty for this item, so as soon as they saw my review they contacted me and said item was defective. They sent me a new power cord, and it works just fine.

I really like this new type of cable. And, as a purple-oholic, of course, I love the color! I was a bit nervous when reading some reviews about how they were not sturdy. I have been careful to plug in and remove by the metal purple end and NOT the cable itself. One is at my computer, another on my bed table... both still as good as new!November 2019Still as good as new. The only difference is that I keep one in the car and one at my computer.

These charging cables are perfect! They are so durable, and made so well, I don't believe they will ever kink. I got them in the purple/lavendar color to match my purple Samsung Galaxy S9+. Don't pass these up if you need new charging cables. They come in a 2-pack and are well worth the great price!!

I really do like these charging cords. I bought them for my Samsung S9 because I have the purple version and I assumed these would match. They actually match the color perfectly! The connecting piece also fits nice and tight in the charging port. No issues with it falling out or bring too loose. The only reason I have given it a lower rating than 5 stars is because the cord is a bit short. Its not really a good length to reach from a power strip on the floor to the top of my night stand. It reaches, just not a lot of wiggle room and then really not suitable to use in bed if you needed it on the charger. I should've paid more attention to the measurements so it's really my fault but it would be great if at least 6 inches longer. 12in more would be ideal. If you dont mind not having a bit more lenght to your cable cords, then get this! It's super durable and pretty. Plus you get two!

I bought these cables exactly eight months ago, since they beautifully matched my Lavender Purple Galaxy Note 9. I've had zero problems with them (no fraying or connection issues), and they've been used all over the house, and with various computers, laptops and charging bricks or hubs. My cats seem uninterested in playing with or chewing on them (unlike regular cables), which is a major plus.I plan to pick up a two-pack of the 6-ft cables, but really wish they also had the 1 ft. cable in purple.

I purchased the purple cords to have extra. I plugged in my phone to the charger and within 2 minutes I had a warning on my phone that it needed to unplug from the charger immediately due to overheating. I tried to unplug the cord from the phone but it was to hot to even touch. I unplugged the cord from the outlet until I could take it out of the phone. It's been over 5 minutes and I can still feel the warmth on my phone. I will be trying to send back for a full refund. Safe your phone and your life and do not purchase. My kids even noticed smell of fire.*Update* I sent back and got a full refund.

I ordered these chargers because of the rope like way they are made because they last longer and because of their length. I wanted a short length to use with my portable battery charger. It works great so far. I've only had them for a couple of weeks but so far so good.

The fact that you get two of these for what normally one costs is already a bonus, but these are very high quality and are holding up very well. I keep one by my bedside for overnight phone charging and I carry the other in my purse for quick USB charging when needed. The other bonus is that the purple color matches my purse exactly and the color keeps my husband from stealing my cords.
