Bodum C-Mill Electric Blade Coffee and Spice Grinder, Stainless Steel Blade, White

I’ve been using this Bodum C-Mill coffee grinder for almost 2 weeks now, and it works great! The grinder is very deep, which is a fantastic design feature - when I open the lid, the coffee powder doesn’t spill out everywhere like with other grinders I’ve used. The stainless steel blade grinds consistently and efficiently. It’s easy to operate and gets the job done quickly. The build quality feels solid, and cleanup is straightforward. If you’re looking for a reliable electric grinder that actually keeps your coffee grounds contained, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Works great! Perfect grind each time

I was going to give this 3-stars after using it for the first time, but I wanted to be completely fair so I waited a week to write this. My first impression was great! It's a good-looking grinder, and it felt like a decent quality unit to replace the one my mom gave to me 20yrs ago. The Bodum's motor makes a great noise (honestly had me thinking of beautiful F1 engines compared to my labored old unit), the bowl has lots of room for a full load of beans to feed my 12-cup BUNN, and it has lots of power as evidenced in my attached video. BUT, the first time I used it the Bodum left quite the mess as grounds worked their way into the space between the bowl and lid. This differs from the Gloria Jean's Made-in-France unit mom gifted me only because its lid lip gets tucked into the bowl (not outside like the Bodum). It's honestly a bit frustrating, but several other brands are designed like this so perhaps I'm being too picky. Let's give it a week and see if it's really that big of deal. After using the Bodum for a week I had to boost my rating. I love the way it looks, the way it sounds, and the cord storage which my old unit was lacking. I've been able to curb the mess a bit. The only reason - outside of mechanical failure - I can forecast for its replacement is if I decide to step up to a burr grinder. I don't see that happening any time soon because this feels like a sturdy unit with a good motor, the price was right, and the grind quality is absolutely wonderful in consistency per time. Good job grinding coffee and spices.

I really liked the grinder at first. It matched my electric kettle and looks sleek. Ground extremely well and wasn’t as loud as some grinders. However, I used it for about 2 months and it suddenly stopped working and produced a strange smell. I assume the engine burned up. It doesn’t work any longer and I only used it for 8 weeks. Perhaps I overfilled it. I am unlikely to buy this brand again. For the record, I don’t often submit bad reviews but feel a moral obligation to share my experience. I am past the period of support with Amazon and it isn’t worth my time to pursue refund via manufacturer warranty. Good luck out there!

Esta chiquita, pero super eficiente para moler una carga para una cafetera de hasta 12 tazas, y si necesitas mas café pues la vuelves usar y ya , no necesitas comprar una moledora grande.

Why is this still being sold in the uk? I ordered it not realising it is NOT for UK and the system is for US electricity use only. I now see (having read the review post order and delivery) that I am not the only person to have found this out after ordering. It is absolutely no use in UK. Don’t order!

This arrived a month ago and it quickly became obvious on inspection that it was from the States and incompatible with UK sockets. The box was slightly battered too. I duly filled in return label, repackaged and sent back via Amazon Hub at local Post Office. Yesterday I received a Royal Mail request to pay a £7 charge on a parcel that had no postage on it, which I did. The parcel in question turns out to be the one I sent over two weeks ago, returned to me !! I've now paid over £32 for a product that I can't use, that was not advertised as coming from USA,and that Amazon Hub has clearly not returned to sender!
