EDIT: Buy a glass container or at least put these in the container. I made a huge mistake the other day when my hand slipped, grabbed the bag that was falling except I grabbed it so hard, the powder basically exploded ALL OVER the cabinet. Let me tell you, this stuff is finer than anything imaginable. It's worse then prank glitters. It'll get inside everything and anything and you'll taste the sweetness in your lungs. It clings onto every surface possible so even vacuuming may not fully get rid of it. The only thing that helped was meticulously washing every bag of bread, boxes of dry goods, and trying to wash down the cabinet that will require forensic-level precision and cleaning skill of a serial killer that leaves no trace. Don't underestimate the power of Stevia. I'm glad I bought only the 8 oz. At first, I was like, no way this small bag will last me more than a few months. WAS I WRONG. Being a big kid, I stuck my finger and licked the stevia off my finger. OMG. IT'S SWEET. So much so I didn't think it could be so sweet. Now, Stevia does have some bitterness to it so keep that in mind. You'll have to stir it well though it does seem to work with cold coffee and other drinks. Some clumping can occur but it's very minimal once stirred. The most important part, this stuff is VERY fine and VERY sweet. It's like powdered sugar. You get the idea so don't be closing the bag with haste as you'll spread the powder like you were just...having fun. I've caught myself inhaling this stuff many times already that seem to get suspended. I highly recommend keeping this in a jar of some sort as closing and opening this bag causes the insanely fine powder to go airborne no matter what it seems. As for serving, don't think teaspoon. Think micrograms. Think of putting this on an edge of wooden coffee stir stick. That's all you need. Less is better to start as one time I accidentally put 1/2 tsp. OH MY GOD. I thought Kool Aid as an adult tasted sweet but it's at least twice as sweet if not more. I had to add more coffee and still wasn't enough so I made a new cup. It's really no joke how sweet this is. For this 8 oz, it'll probably last me over a year easily. That is, if you drink coffee probably no more than twice a day. I bought this mainly to reduce blood sugar spike as I was pre-diabetic. Trying to be better about what I can replace. Sugar is good but it's not always needed so for the price, I think it's awesome.

I drink cocoa powder in my coffee in the morning. Bitter, hard to mix into my coffee. I buy it in 5 lb bag every 6 months or so. I've tried so-called "sugar free" cocoa mixes recently, only to learn that they have PLENTY of calories due to using maltodextrin and the like, which somehow, they are allowed to claim are not 'sugar' even though they cause insulin spikes. So I tried this Stevia extract. Mixed a couple of tablespoons into 1 lb of cocoa powder - dry - tumbling the big bag for a few minutes, too sweet - AND - a strong 'aftertaste'. So I added another 1 lb of cocoa powder and mixed it again. Perfect! Just the right sweetness, no aftertaste - and the big surprise was that, at least for me, the fine Stevia powder mixed so thoroughly throughout my cocoa powder, that both the Stevia and the cocoa mix very quickly and easily, no lumping, into my hot coffee every morning. Instant gratification. Yum. Love it and will buy more when needed, but I still have MOST of my 8oz bag of Stevia extract after mixing it as I've described. It might be 2 years before I need another. If you try it, I recommend that you try "just a teeny bit" at first to avoid my own mistake of adding too much which caused an aftertaste (for me). Will buy again and give as gifts to my overweight kids.

I like this brand, so I decided to give this stevia a go. This is A LOT of stevia hahaha. Unless you are a frequent baker, you are never going to run out of this. I think I've had this for 4 months and it doesn't even look like I've used any of it. It's because a little bit of it goes a long long way. It can be bitter, not sure if it is user error, but I just cannot shake the bitterness of it sometimes. Sticky powder even worse than powdered sugar, so be mindful of that.

I found this after the stevia sweetener I was getting on an Amazon subscription became unavailable. This is much better. It is super sweet and while the other would leave a cloud of powder in the air anytime you used it, this is much easier to work with.

This stuff is as pure as I have been able to find and am pleased with it. Such a fine powder and smooth texture. This bag is going to last me a LONG time as I mainly use it for my tea everyday. I will warn future users to mind what the manufacturer advises for measuring amounts to take to heart. It comes with a 1/16 plastic measuring spoon that you want to use. Large amounts will not taste good, so be careful when first using the product. The only real issue I have with the product is the tiny measuring spoon. I wish that they put it into a larger sealed wrap of some sort. As the spoon is the same color as the sweetener, and I had to very carefully pour the bag into a large mixing bowl as it was at the very bottom of the bag. Based on other natural sweeteners that I have bought through the years, this is on the high end pricing but you get what you pay for and this is worth it.

I had written a review of this product when I first tried it. I have since found a couple of things that so changed my opinion that I have to rewrite this. There is extra bitterness to this stevia, however I think I've determined that it's more due to using too much . It's a powdery substance as opposed to a granular substance. The consistency and the scoop that they give makes it very difficult to get what you would think was a nice level scoop. The end result was that I was putting in more than I should have. So the known bitterness of stevia was even stronger. In other words the sweetness is there but there's a little extra bitterness in this brand however when used cautiously so you get the right amount, the bitterness seems to be typical for stevia. I like it in coffee where I don't get any of the bitterness at all. I've been using it in cereal and while initially I found the bitterness overwhelming, when I use it in the right amount it sweetens my cereal without making it bitter. So overall I would say there's a little extra bitterness to this stevia but it's very sweet and the biggest problems with it are putting the right very small amount into whatever you're having. I haven't tried it in baking yet. The NOW brand, is granular so it's easier to get the right amount, however it doesn't dissolve as easily in hot beverages, and that brand is not as sweet as this.

Super sweet, tried it for the first time its "super" sweet, wont need a lot. It comes with its own scoop. Be sure to use that scoop. Will need a liitle to sweeten your coffee or whatever it is your taking. Making it cheaper in the long run. Recommending this product. You can't go wrong.

When the sweetener Stevia first came out it was disappointing it had a significantly unpleasant aftertaste. Gradually that unpleasant aftertaste decreased. Most brands now taste okay in most foods when used in small amounts. But it is still wise to only buy products with Reb A as the main Stevia extract. I tried to find out which Stevia extract is the main ingredient in Sure Life Pure Stevia Extract. I could not find it listed any where. But the bag states no after taste. Well, I thought, today everyone knows that Stevioside extract leaves a distinctly bitter taste so they must use Reb A. I can't prove it but I would say beyond a shadow of a doubt the main extract in this product is Stevioside and not Reb A. While there may be a little Reb A in this product it appears it is just enough to truthfully say they use it. I mostly have lime or lemon water once or twice a day with a little Stevia extract. This product has the worse aftertaste since the early days when Stevia first came out. I had to throw my drink away. I would not recommend this product even though they may have other combination sweeteners that work this product of Pure Stevia Extract is a waste of money. 11/9/24 This is an update. I wrote a review a few days ago and I now know that I may have spoken too soon. When I first tried this product it left a distinctly bitter after taste. I did not want to try other foods that I might have to discard because of bitterness. Today, I thought I would try one more time and I prepared 30 ounces of water with a little bit of a lime powder that I buy on Amazon. This time I used the little measuring spoon that comes in the bag, it was a fraction of the amount that I used previously. I have used small amounts of Stevia Extract without additives for years. So I thought I could safely judge how much to use. I had not used this product before and I misjudged the amount. When I used the scoop that came with the bag of Stevia it made all the difference. I used a very small amount so my drink had only a hint of sweetness but it was sweet enough and not bitter. I don't know how it will do in other food items but I expect it will probably work just fine. I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 because I have not tried it in other foods. I used a mini immersion blender to blend it in my drink.

I was looking for a healthier alternative to Splenda but there's only so much I'm willing to spend on a sweetener. I tried Monk Fruit juice first and it was delicious but I needed at least twice the "recommend" amount so the cost was actually ridiculous . I had skimmed passed this one a few times because, again, it seemed like a lot to spend on such a small bag. Well, I'm glad I decided to read reviews! When people say this is extremely concentrated, they AREN'T lying! I like my coffee pretty sweet but the tiniest amount is more than enough, even for me! This bag is going to last an extremely long time. I do notice a slight "after taste" but it's not off-putting at all. I'll definitely continue purchasing this and highly recommend!

The product comes as a very fine powder. Extremely sweet. The mini scoop that comes along is way too much for a cup of coffee. Actualy my first cup went to drain because it was too sweet. I used to order 1000 sachets in a box, and one of them was just the right amount for my taste. I was curious how this new Stevia would affect my blood glucose, as I fight diabetes without prescription drugs. As my blood test had shown, there was no significant glucose spike. Very good product, but rather difficult to measure the right amount for the taste. I would suggest different packaging and maybe smaller.

I read the reviews and thought thus would be a good buy even though it is extremely expensive. It is supr sweet and you only need a sprinkle to sweeten coffee or tea. 1 14 teaspoon in my coffee was very sweet. In my opinion this has an aftertaste. I don't like it and would not buy again. Will have to mix it with something other sweetener to disguise the taste and use it up.

I have to say…this is the best sweetener I’ve ever tried!!! I have tried Stevia products over the last few years and hated them; but this is pure Stevia extract-very different from the ‘others’. I have mainly been using Truvia for the past 6 years and praised it to friends and family. HOWEVER, I didn’t connect my use of Truvia to gastrointestinal problems as well as bloating, and inflammation in my joints and entire body if I used more than a teaspoon per day. I thought eryrthritol was safe; it isn’t when you are ingesting it. Did my research-Truvia vs Stevia extract-so mind blowing. Therefore, I was very hesitant to purchase any stevia product based on previous experiences with it. This has no aftertaste!!! It is fantastic. I didn’t know it came with the 1/32 teaspoon, so I ordered a set of mini-spoons…glad I did because I need only 1/64th of a teaspoon in a very large mug as it’s sweetening power is literally all I need and even this amount is Sweet. This means the sweetener, which has no dangers or negative side effects, will last me TWICE as long because I need half the amount suggested! Super inexpensive compared to Truvia. I will never buy Truvia again.

Like all stevia products, distinct aftertaste is unavoidable. However, this one certainly tastes less bitter than other 100% stevia products. The consistency needs improvement as it sticks to the package, and it's hard to get it all out. Super sweet.
