I am beyond impressed with the JEmarble Rolling Pin! The polished stone surface not only looks beautiful, but it also performs incredibly well. After chilling it in the freezer, it holds its temperature for a long time, which is a huge help when working with doughs that need to stay cool. Flour sticks well so it stays non stick, and I find that the weight of the pin does most of the work for me—reducing the effort needed while still getting perfect results. The wooden handles are comfortable to hold, and the overall design feels well-balanced. It also comes with a handy stand, making it easy to store without worrying about the surface getting damaged. For the quality and functionality you get, this rolling pin is excellent value for money.

Good rolling pin durable nice and heavy

I wish I could tell you just how handy this rolling pin is. Or how this rolling pin puts all other rolling pins to shame. But I can't. At the time I am writing this review; my wife has had this rolling pin for months, but has yet to use it. When I asked her for ideas of what I could get her for Christmas, she exclaimed, "ooooooh, how about that gorgeous carrara marble rolling pin". I shouldn't have let myself get as excited as I did. I was under the impression that if I were to gift her a rolling pin, that I would benefit from it in the form of baked-goods. Boy was I wrong. It is a beautiful piece for the kitchen. And it makes the kitchen look like there is the occasional baked-good pulled from the oven; but it is simply a mirage. I guess that what I am trying to say is; if your wife is so obsessed with carrara marble that you name your dog Carrara; chances are that she wants you to buy it so that you own more carrara marble than that other lady she knows; and not because she wants to bake for you...

Solid marble roller and sturdy handles make this an every day kitchen tool. The cradle make sire it stays where you need it. Nicely done product.

It’s beautiful! Rolls well UNLESS your dough is very cold. In that case it isn’t good that the roller moves independent of handles. It’s my first marble rolling pin and I expected it to function a bit better. Dough surprisingly sticks to roller once thawed a bit. So... hard to roll with cold dough but sticks once warmed a bit. Perhaps this is just the nature of a marble pin? It’s also very heavy so I can’t see grandma using it easily. But if you have a break-in... go for the pin over a kitchen knife for self defense. 😉

Love this. Rolls great and cleans up easy. Heavier than expected, which is great because you don’t have to work it as hard on heavier dough.

Very nice quality. The box could be a little nicer for gifting....but packaged way better than the other 3 I bought (different brand) that came to me chipped. The marble looked very nice. The handles could be of better quality but still nice. Happy with this purchase.....Price was a little high....but OK.
