I was a little skeptical of the quality based on the price point but when I opened it, it blew me away! The wood finish is amazing and the pieces are a great weight. The magnetism is perfectly balanced so that you hardly notice it while moving pieces but they stay put. 10/10 would recommend.

I got this for a birthday gift for my brother, who's currently into playing chess and he loved it for so many reasons. First of all, it's made out of high quality wooden material that folds in half and has dedicated individual storage spot for each piece for perfect fit and protection, which is awesome. It also includes 2 extra queens, which is nice as you may need extra queen towards the end of the game when the pawn reach the other end side. The best part is that the bottom of the pieces are magnetic to the board so it's very stable and you can't accidentally knock the pieces off. I'm very impressed with the quality and craftmanship that went into making this awesome chess set so I highly recommend it!

Plays well, you can’t hold it upside down but magnets are strong enough that they wont slide while moving. Customer service was very helpful.

Fantastic chess set, the pieces get stuck together during play sometimes but they're magnetic so it's expected. It's nice to be able to fold the set and put it in my work locker and I've used it to introduce a bunch of people to chess at work that wouldn't have typically played.

I bought this for me and my kids and I love that the board is foldable because I can literally store this chess set anywhere. The other great thing about this is because its foldable, I'm able to store this chess set in my camping trailer so we can play when we go on family trips. We've already taken this with us a few times and its been a great hit with the family. The board does lay completely flat when it's folded out and even when traveling, the pieces stay in the cutouts, not to mention, the locks will keep this board locked in place too. The chess pieces are very accurate and are comfortable to hold. This whole set has been great for teaching one of my kids how to play but also the ones that do, this set has been great for them too. Quality craftsmanship too.

We gifted the set to our teenager for his birthday. He was especially impressed with the magnetic feature his opponent specifically like how its conveniently stored within in tbe gameboard.

Great set if you're just getting into chess, or traveling. Magnetic pieces make it super easy to play while moving or on the sofa! Cheap price but Great quality for what you pay for! Holds all the pieces in the board with two extra queens! Light weight so it won't be hard to carry around but its still super sturdy and doesn't feel like it will easily break!
