Are these compatible with children’s hub magnets?

These only have magnets in the centre of each side. So unless the magnets are in the same places they wont snap together. Hope that helps.

Would older children like these. She loves Lego?

My older grandchildren greatly enjoy making the more complicated items illustrated. They are boys aged 8 and 9, and a 7 year old girl. The 2 year old for whom I actually bought the set loves making very simple things. I hope this helps.
