There is a great opportunity to learn about different animals too- with activities in the back of the book related to this. It’s just beautiful!

This is a great book showing mother's love is universal. Written in lovely rhymes, it gives examples of several animals like dogs, cats, pigs, octopus, horses, geese, duck and many others and shows how their mothers take care of their babies and love them. I loved the illustrations too, that are bright and colorful. The text is easy to read. Highly recommended.

This book is very sweet and gentle, a perfect lullaby before bed or to calm down a moment. I enjoyed the rhyme work and the artistic work, very colorful yet not too bright and over stimulating. The little stories of each animal was done lovely, including a great amount of animals and the love the mamma has for the youngling. Perfect for my 3 year old.
