REIBII 2400 LBS Garage Shelving for Basement, Adjustable Shelving Unit

I’ve bough these before and wrote a more detailed review that time. The short version: these are stable and easy to assemble. The other ones I’ve bought have lasted the better part of a year without a single problem. I have no reason to believe they will ever have a problem. I wouldn’t trust them with, say, stacked weight plates on the top shelf, but for normal everyday storage they’re perfect. At $40 you can’t ask for more than “good enough”. In this case “good enough” means excellent value.

I needed narrow shelves for the garage that were easy to put together and would hold what I needed. These did the job. They seemed a little flimsy when putting together but they ended up being great. Would buy again.

I picked up the shelf unit to get my garage in order, and I was honestly impressed right out of the box. Assembly was so easy. The package includes a small hammer, gloves, and really clear instructions. No screws or bolts are needed thanks to the interlocking design, so the whole process took me about 10 minutes on my own. That made it perfect for a quick weekend project. What I really like is how sturdy it is. Each shelf holds up to 404 lbs, and you can definitely feel that stability once it's set up. I’ve got heavy book boxes, tool bins, and random garage stuff stacked on it, and it doesn’t even wobble. It also has adjustable shelves, so I could customize it to fit my different-sized containers. That flexibility is a huge plus, especially when you're trying to make the most out of limited space. The size worked great for my small garage area; big enough to store a lot, but still slim enough to fit comfortably without taking over the whole wall. I actually bought the 2-pack thinking I’d need both for garage storage, but one unit was more than enough for my needs. The second one ended up being repurposed as a dresser shelf in my bedroom, and it works surprisingly well there too. The black metal looks clean and modern, so it doesn’t feel out of place at all. Long term, I’ll be keeping an eye out for any rust or wear, especially since it’s in the garage. But so far, the quality seems solid. I’d definitely recommend this if you're looking for a reliable, multi-use shelving solution that won’t break the bank. So let’s first say the price is 36 dollars, so for that and a few other things it gets 4 *. Unboxing was easy and the instructions were the most detailed I’ve seen in a while 😂. The gloves were useless for me, but nice for others I’m sure. The biggest fail is the hammer 🔨 it would just chip the paint and create dings. I used a rubber mallet instead. I would read all of the instructions first, and I would suggest also to do one shelf at a time meaning all brackets, middle bracket, and The actual shelf. After you do that, then you could push down and use your rubber mallet. You will need a lot of patience because the brackets pop off so you just gotta keep putting them back on and keep building. Mine seems very stable, but I would never move it; seems like some of the brackets would pop off. Not bad for the price and look at that organization. Makes my OCD happy 😃

Easy to setup and install, i needed more then 5 shelves so i bought 3 sets and used the extra set to have 7 shelves across two units, these are so cheap i dont understand why people are complaing about it only having 5 shelves, anyway these where perfect for what i needed them for but i would not call them heavy duty, but they are sturdy when you get them all put togther, for the cons it would be it nice if the shelves where just a little thicker to sit flush as there is a raised lip around the edges, 1/4 thick plywood would be a pefect fit if you wanted to replace them with something stronger, i also liked the dowles they included for linking two togther as it adds extra stablity and makes them perfectly symmetrical for us OCD guys

First off, I only very, very, very rarely give a bad review. Honest yes and sometimes that entails some good and some not as good... But this is possibly the only one star review I have ever given. THESE ARE A PIECE OF CRAP! So bad that after two days of trying and 4 hours in I can't even get them fully assembled. You get 4 pieces together and two fall off, put those two back on do one more and three fall apart. IF by some magic you get it assembled and try to move it to position it into place it completely falls apart and you have to start all over again! I have tried using wire to hold it together once each piece is in to no avail. The WOOD they claim the shelves to be are pressed PAPER. They are so flimsy that even leaning them up against a chair while you are trying to assemble the shelf, they start caving in and bending. There is no way on earth this shelf can hold even hundreds of pounds let alone the 2400lbs they claim. And only that if nobody breaths. STAY AWAY, MOVE ON, Buy something sturdier. PS, ran into a friend who bought the same shelves a while ago. She threw them in the trash. I'm a pretty darn handy gal. and I've never worked with anything this crappy in my life. And no it did not help to have an extra pair of hands. Yes I followed directions. OH, and it came with two missing pieces as well.

Easy to assemble affordable

The REIBII 2400LBS 5-tier garage shelving unit is a mixed bag in real-world use. On paper, it sounds like a heavy-duty powerhouse, but in practice it feels a bit underwhelming. Assembly was fairly straightforward, but the materials don’t inspire much confidence. The metal has a thinner, almost lightweight feel, and the shelves rely heavily on MDF boards that come across more like basic particle board than something truly industrial-grade. It gives off more of a “light-duty storage rack dressed up as heavy duty” impression. Once assembled, it does stand and function, and it’s usable for general garage organization or bins that aren’t too heavy. However, it does have a slightly plasticky, less rigid feel than expected, especially when compared to more solid steel shelving units. I wouldn’t trust it for anything truly heavy or valuable without careful load balancing. It’s workable for the price if your expectations are realistic—good for storage bins, seasonal items, or light garage clutter—but it falls short of the “2400 lbs heavy duty” claim in terms of feel and long-term durability. Overall: usable, but not nearly as sturdy as advertised.
