Rock-Solid Shelving That Handles Serious Weight
Heavy-duty, easy to assemble, and space-saving — the REIBII 2020LBS 5-Tier Storage Shelves are a top pick for garage or warehouse organization. With a 4.2-star average from over 250 reviews, they’re praised for their strength and versatility. I needed a reliable shelving unit for my garage to store tools, bins, and some heavier equipment — and the REIBII 2020LBS 5-Tier Storage Shelves delivered. Assembly was straightforward with no bolts required, and I appreciated the flexibility to configure it as one tall unit or two shorter ones. The shelves feel incredibly sturdy, and the 2020-pound capacity is no joke. I’ve loaded mine with everything from power tools to storage totes, and there’s no sagging or wobbling. The adjustable height is a bonus, letting me customize the spacing for bulkier items. One tip: make sure to use a rubber mallet during assembly to lock everything in tight. Once set up, it’s rock solid. Whether you’re organizing a garage, warehouse, or even a pantry, this is a great investment for the price.

Great product with a great price
I picked up the shelf unit to get my garage in order, and I was honestly impressed right out of the box. Assembly was so easy. The package includes a small hammer, gloves, and really clear instructions. No screws or bolts are needed thanks to the interlocking design, so the whole process took me about 10 minutes on my own. That made it perfect for a quick weekend project. What I really like is how sturdy it is. Each shelf holds up to 404 lbs, and you can definitely feel that stability once it's set up. I’ve got heavy book boxes, tool bins, and random garage stuff stacked on it, and it doesn’t even wobble. It also has adjustable shelves, so I could customize it to fit my different-sized containers. That flexibility is a huge plus, especially when you're trying to make the most out of limited space. The size worked great for my small garage area; big enough to store a lot, but still slim enough to fit comfortably without taking over the whole wall. I actually bought the 2-pack thinking I’d need both for garage storage, but one unit was more than enough for my needs. The second one ended up being repurposed as a dresser shelf in my bedroom, and it works surprisingly well there too. The black metal looks clean and modern, so it doesn’t feel out of place at all. Long term, I’ll be keeping an eye out for any rust or wear, especially since it’s in the garage. But so far, the quality seems solid. I’d definitely recommend this if you're looking for a reliable, multi-use shelving solution that won’t break the bank. Pros: - Super easy and quick to assemble (no bolts or screws needed) - Extremely sturdy and stable with high weight capacity - Adjustable and detachable shelves add flexibility - Works in different spaces (garage, pantry, bedroom, etc.) - Great value for a 2-pack set Cons: - Depth might be a little narrow for larger storage bins - Will need time to see how it holds up against rust in the long run

Great for what I needed, but too flimsy to hold 2020 lbs
I got this for my home office. When we first moved in to our house, the room that is my office had a closet that was completely destroyed. We removed that closet, however, now I lack storage in my office. I decided to get this shelving unit for our tools and painting supplies for our house that is mid-remodel. It will help tremendously keeping my office organized until I put a closet back in. It is perfect for its purpose for the price. Considering I am on a raised foundation, we cannot put 2020 lbs in the footprint of this unit, so I was not looking for something that would actually hold that much weight. However, heed other reviews that state how flimsy this unit is. It really is flimsy, and I was unsure if it would stay together for me to move it to the corner I am using it in. I would NOT put anything heavy on the top 2 shelves, the unit is more unsteady the higher the shelves are. Unless you anchor it to a concrete wall or a stud, it won't hold anything heavy up top. However, all that aside, it is absolutely perfect for what I plan to use it for. It holds my 45lbs tool box perfectly on the bottom shelf along with my power tools, all my painting tools on the next one up, and miscellaneous lighter materials and items on the higher shelves. It is perfect for the price (including shipping, $50) and I probably won't exceed 250lbs on the unit. It is exactly what I needed. However, if you need a unit that will stand on its own and hold 500lbs+ or any weight on the top shelves, I HIGHLY recommend getting one that is much sturdier if you want it to stand on its own. If you anchor the unit it would probably be much sturdier. The unit comes in two pieces, a top piece and a bottom piece that are tied together with metal brackets with plastic fasteners. However, it can also double as 2 units stand-alone, one with 2 shelves and one unit with 3 shelves, or next to each other connected with fasteners provided with the same 2-shelf 3-shelf configuration, which I think would be much more stable than the 72" tall unit. That is a nice bonus, but I need the height for my current application. Because of the ability to use it as 2 shelving units, I may use one of these units in my storage shed in 2 pieces instead of buying 2 shorter units. I think the ability to configure as 2 units or 1 unit is really neat. It also adds to the lack of sturdiness in the 72" unit, so something to consider. I am using the unit against the wall in a corner, so it has walls on 2 sides. I don't think it could take a bump and not knock stuff off the upper shelves if it were not against the wall. Assembly was easy enough, and pretty intuitive. Once you get one shelf together it is just more of the same all the way up. It is hard to tell the direction to face the bars to put the shelf on in the instructions, but the flat part goes up, which is pretty apparent when considering the wood piece that fits inside.

Pretty good deal
I bought this because it seemed like the most robust construction at the cheapest price. It’s all metal, except for the shelf platform, which is mdf or ldf. Not an unreasonable material which ever it is. All the parts fit together well. If you have a dead blow hammer it’s probably a better choice for assembly than the hammer they provide. It’s reasonable sturdy for what it is. I’m happy with this.

Everything is so thin
The shelves were easy to put together because everything is so, so thin. It did include gloves and a mallet to complete the build. Once it was complete it still felt unstable as I could twist the opposite sides and it would give in. Yes, I followed directions and everything was put together correctly. I know you get what you pay for, but the dimensions were exactly what I needed. I wouldn’t suggest this for an area where there are children and I suggest it be secured to the wall.

too lite mallet, too narrow depth but sturdy
if you have a full size rubber mallet have it handy because the one included isn't heavy enough to crack a joke. this size (depth) is really too narrow for garage/storage bins unless you turm the bins lengthwise which, in my opinion, defeats the purpose. i put together 3 tiers and put it in the kitchen to put air fryer, rice cooker, 24-pack cup-o-noodles, etc., on.

Great value for light-to-moderate weight.
Rubber mallet shown as “free gift” on one of the product page images is not actually included. They give you a hammer shaped object made of light weight plastic that is effectively useless. So, you’ll want to have some kind of actual rubber mallet or just deal with some dings from using a steal hammer, because you need to hammer the frame fairly aggressively to get the whole thing nice and level and stable. The frame is made of very flimsy metal, but once assembled the whole unit is surprisingly stable.. but the shelves are laughably thin, so I wouldn’t trust their weight limits. Even considering these two negatives, if you need cheap, light weight shelves for stuff that isn’t all that heavy, these things are unbeatable for the money. I bought two and will likely buy more in the future once I finish overhauling my garage.
