These things are a life saver, and much, much better than wax. They do stick well to the bracket surface, or even wires, and last through eating and sleeping. Wax just doesn't stick well, and I never got the hang of it. These dots are also clear, so that you can see your lovely brace colors through them. I don't like yellowish wax, as it just looks like I have nasty food stuck on my teeth. These worked well, and I'm thankful.

These are amazing and a total game changer for orthodontics. They are thinner, easier to apply and last much longer than traditional wax. I had TADs placed, the screws are sharp and cut up the inside of my lip. Wax was difficult to place and needed to be changed every time I ate. The orthoDots have been amazing, I’m able to place them quickly and they last all day (during 3 meals) with no issue. They are expensive but to me they are definitely worth it.

WHERE HAVE THESE BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE! Guys, these are amazing! I’m 32, have had braces 3 times, and these bad boys are where it’s at! Let’s talk Wax, it’s not the easiest to use. It doesn’t always stick or stay, and you have to get your braces dry..it’s a pain. (However, wax is free from your orthodontist. That being said-I’d spend $25 on these again-no questions asked.) I won’t even get started on the molar braces, those are impossible to get wax to cover and stay on! After a few weeks of using wax you get use to it, become a pro, but not everyone uses wax everyday on their braces-it’s for those odd ball days something happens and you can’t get seen or your appointments next week. You forgot how to use the wax, and those first weeks you became a pro using it, well you’ve lost the magic and are back to learning how to get it to stick all over again. These dots are clear! Can’t see them once on-I personally love that because I have clear braces, keeps everything on the down low. Also, they are fast (2-3 seconds), super easy to use, and so smooth! The texture soothes the wounds you may have or poking wires/brackets causing pain. They “melt” onto the braces with the slightest push-after a few seconds you can then start to mold them-pushing from side to side, up or down-this allows you to thin them out or cover the next bracket. I love these for the molars! They are a pain to reach, dry, and get wax to mold too. With these dots it’s a walk In the park-instant relief. Only downfall I will say, they don’t stay on any better than wax-they came off with eating just as wax did. However, that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. These save me the 20minutes I take putting wax on, and then reattempting because it doesn’t stick. Worth a shot! You won’t regret that you did :)

What a waste of money. This was purchased because it was marketed as better than the wax for adhesion. It disintegrated and fell off in minutes. The wax you buy for $2.50 is so much better than the $13.29 I spent. To add insult it’s not even eligible for a refund. Used one “dot” which is a cube of wax. Very disappointed. Not ever buying again. Save your money. It would be cheaper to precut your wax strips into small cubes it’s the same nonsense and take the savings and buy yourself a latte.

​I really like OrthoDots! One of the biggest perks is that you can drink and eat soft foods without them budging. When applying them, the trick is to press down for a few seconds so they adhere properly before you pinch the edges. (Word of advice: don't pinch too hard if you're placing them over hooks!) ​My only real complaint is the price point relative to the quantity. A pack only contains 12 pieces. If you have to use multiple dots on your upper teeth, you can use up half a pack in a single application. Because they are strictly one-time use, it's frustrating to have to toss them out every time I need to floss. ​However, keep in mind that you likely won't need to use these forever. I am currently in my first week of braces, and while one side of my mouth is much more painful than the other right now, I know the sores will eventually heal up in about 2 weeks. You really only need these to get through that intense initial adjustment period. ​Ultimately, they are a fantastic product for getting you through a rough start, and I highly recommend them to anyone who just got their braces on!

These are ok. They dont work well on brackets on very back teeth. You have to make sure the brackets are totally dry before applying the dots or they will fall off. They also sometimes dont stay on while eating. That depends on what you're eating. They do stay on all day once applied, and you can eat soft foods and they will stay on. They stay on while drinking also. You have to make sure they are directly applied to the bracket or they will slip off. For a pack of 12, you will go through these pretty fast.

I just put them on at 7am but love them already so much more than the wax. Only issue I had was getting them on the end brackets on the left side due to irritation and swelling of my cheek. My mouth feels much better and they do stick as instructed. Love that I can see the color of my braces and that nothing feels like it is irritating my lower lip or cheeks anymore. They did tear a tiny bit when trying to initially put it on the ones with hooks but I already can tell the difference between these and the wax. I love how they are activated by saliva. They are big enough to cover 2 brackets close to each other but small enough that its not bulky. Definitely will be buying more for my journey as needed.

These are very helpful, and easy to use! I had no trouble with it sticking/staying in place. Literally placed it on a bracket and hook that was causing pain in two seconds, and got comfort immediately. It was also easy to remove when needed. I appreciate the individual packaging too. Would recommend especially when starting braces!

Ik krijg de plakkers al niet heel van de verpakking af. Plakker plaatsen gaat ook niet. Plakt niet. Ik vrees dat deze overdatum zijn of zoiets. Jammer. Retourneren is te complex dus laat maar. Ik ga het ook niet opnieuw proberen. Jammer.
