I had been eyeing a higher end Dutch Oven for ages, but honestly couldn't bring myself to pay that price. I searched around and found this beautiful Dutch oven at a reasonable price, so I figured I would give it a try- and wow, I'm so glad I did!This thing is heavy duty, gorgeous, and works great. I've made everything from sourdough bread to pot roast in it and it performs beautifully every time. The enamel coating makes for easy cleaning (and no seasoning like raw cast iron), and it holds heat really well. It looks beautiful sitting on my stove too-which is a bonus!It might be one of my favorite kitchen purchases this year!

I read and watched a fair number of Dutch oven reviews before buying this one. The honest reviewers admit that most of them perform about the same regardless of price! The only differentiators are weight, handle design, and quality of the enamel. Weight matters as the more iron in the pot the better it retains and distributes the heat. Oddly, some of the most expensive ones $$$$ are not even on the heavy side.Amazon threw me a coupon on this unit making it to inexpensive not to try out. The risk of "Cheap" of course is that it turns out to be a poorly made Chinese product delivered with dents or chips. That is NOT the case here. At this price level I'm sure it's manufactured in China, but the quality is Top Drawer! It was packaged with care, came with a few cute and creative accessories, and really reflects well on the brand.It absolutely beautiful inside and out. I bought the 7qt model and it's huge and heavy and I love it. I've cooked in it twice now and gave the interior enamel a workout with some seriously baked-on acidic foods. But it cleaned up with little effort... looks good as new. Great purchase. Do not hesitate and do not pay for a $$$$ brand!

This Dutch oven pot is a fantastic addition to my kitchen! The build quality is excellent—sturdy, heavy-duty, and retains heat evenly for perfect cooking results every time! It’s easy to clean, and the pot looks stunning on the stove or table. It feels like a high-end piece at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for anyone who loves cooking!

I originally had my heart set on a Le Creuset, but let’s be real the price is steep. I decided to give this Overmont Dutch oven a try instead, and I’m so glad I did! It’s stunning on the stove, has a nice weight to it, and cooks beautifully.I’ve made soups, stews, and even baked bread in it everything turns out evenly cooked and full of flavor. The enamel coating is easy to clean, and it looks way more expensive than it is. The gold knob adds a touch of elegance too.If you want that classic Dutch oven look and performance without the luxury price tag, this is the one. Highly recommend!

07/20/2025 Updated Review:I returned this for a refund through Amazon, however I was contacted by the company directly as well. They asked if they could send me a brand new dutch oven (completely free!), and still allow me to keep my refund, due to the fact that they wanted me to be a satisfied customer. Wow!I received the new one today, and it was in PRISTINE condition. It was boxed totally different than the first; very well packed in an original Overmont box, the lid had its own box, and it came with some other items that were not included in the first box. With that being said, I have to wonder if I was actually sent a dutch oven that someone else had previously returned to Amazon the first time. This new one (that looks like it was sent directly from Louisiana and not Amazon) was perfect and beautiful!I have to give Kudos to the company for doing this; as a customer, it makes all the difference to our future purchases, and I will say that I would do business with Overmont again in the future. I am updating my review to 5 stars, because they really went over and beyond to make sure their customer was taken care of. If anything changes, I'll come back to update this review again.Original Review:So disappointed when I opened this today. I had purchased it for baking my sourdough breads in, but unfortunately it had chips in the porcelain, both inside and out. The lid was very bad, all the way around, and there were chips on the inside as well. I probably could have lived with the lid chips on the outside, but will not be using a pot that is chipped on the inside from the get-go. Doesn't scream quality item to me. I will be returning this. Very sad! :(

I’ve had this for a while now and I’ve really enjoyed cooking with it. I primarily use it for cooking and simmering homemade pasta sauce and it has been extremely durable. I’ve received a number of complements on its vivid finish and I felt like it was extremely well priced compared to other similar products.Additionally, its heavy weight construction gives it excellent heat distribution even with my less than ideal stovetop.

My son recently got into baking sourdough bread so I ordered this Dutch Oven dish based on Amazon reviews. Unfortunately the paint on the handle chipped before he even used it. I contacted Overmont customer service and after a few emails and a few weeks they shipped us a replacement. The inside of the pan has not chipped, only the handle, so we continued to use it until the new one was received. Other than the paint chip we have no complains about it. It’s both beautiful and functional!

I was drawn to this for its reasonable price and the number of positive reviews it has received. More and more I rely on reviews to help me make a decision about a product. I bought this as a gift for a friend who had destroyed her favorite cooking pot (long story). She said it was the perfect size for her and that it cooks evenly. She appreciated the thickness of the pot and it's overall quality. It is a bit heavy, but that is normal for an enameled pot. Overall she is very pleased.I actually inspected the pot before I gave it to her and I was very impressed on how well it is made. If I was in the market for a dutch oven myself, I would get one of these.
