Adjusts easy and makes fiting to a growing foot no problem. The material is padded well, and the straps do a good job of providingthe ankle stability needed in inline skates.WHEELS/RIDE: Obviously I did not personally ride these. But Ii can tell you that the wheels and general ride ofthe skates are in line with what you would expect, and in my opinion better than most generic blades out there. I do not foresee this being a weak link in the skates and believe the rest of the skate will fail or be outgrown before the wheels.APPEARANCE: It's not for everyone right? If you're into the unicorn rainbow obnoxiousness, these are about as much as most can handle. If not, well, you're looking at the wrong product. You'll love them or hate them. There is no in between and it's a personal preference. There were no obvious design or decoration flaws. The colors where clean and bright.VALUE: Another solid score here. I am very pleased with the quality of this skate for the price point. Kids at this age will outgrown equipment like this quickly. I feel the ability to size up and the solid construction will get her through the couple years she will fit into them.OVERALL THOUGHTS: SOLID BUY! What you need and nothing more. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these skates, especially being an adjust to fit. They fit my daughter great with room to grow. The plastic is good quality, very sturdy, as well as the fittings. The padding is thick but maintains the stiffness needed for a good fit. The wheels roll smoothly and are aligned properly. I think these are great first pair of skates.
