Does it measure temperature?

No. It does not measure the tempurature.

How is power supplied to sign? Hardwired, plug in?

It needs standard 120 volt plug-in power.

How do you program different messages? Is it all done with the remote, or can you hook up to pc?

This particular sign is a Remote Control sign, thus you can only program with Remote controller. You can program up to 99 different messages and 500 characters per message. You can also choose specific messages from a index to display on the sign. There is a PC controlled LED Sign which will cost more money. The PC control Sign communicates with CAT 5 cable (LAN connection).

Falling apart

Bought two of them for about $ 1100.00 dolars. They came in boxes and BOTH of them had parts that were coming off as if they were folling apart
