One Six Right Soundtrack

I watched this documentary with my father (a pilot) on a local PBS station (KCET) and I was so memorized. Living in Los Angeles and more so the San Fernando Valley I really enjoyed not only the "history lesson" but the music and impressive visuals. The beautiful shots of planes flying as well as landing on 16R is amazing. I purchased two copies of the soundtrack for myself as well as my father. It's a fixture in his car, he's also a classical music lover so more the better to add this CD to his collection. If you enjoy composers like James Newton Howard, James Hornor, and Randy Edelman this is a CD for you! Nathan Wang does an amazing job with this composition.

OneSix Right is a super DVD, even if you aren't a pilot. The soundtrack is almost as good, and worth a listen to if you saw the DVD. My only reason for not giving it a higher rating is not all of the great music from the DVD is present. What's here is good, however I wish the missing 10% of the score was present.

Love the theme song on this CD! I can imagine flying with that tune!! Good CD...like that they switch to guitar of the same song. And the theme song for Meigs field makes me want to cry just thinking about the loss of that airfield!!

This soundtrack to an excellent movie was way worth the purchase for me because I enjoyed the movie so much which makes the music almost reminiscent as well as beautiful to listen to.

Blasting footage, great light, great stories - love it. (I'm holding a PPL license since more tha 50 years)
