As far as I can tell, the antenna I received is a 100% genuine Nagoya NA-771 antenna. I used the guidance at Nagoya's How-to-identify-the-genuine-and-fake-antenna web-page and the item I received matches all the examples for a genuine antenna and sleeve - the printing is good, the sleeve bag is good and the antenna came with a spacer o-ring. I don't have the equipment to test whether it behaves as it should, but when I connected it to my UV-5R handset I was able to receive signals at a fair range, better I think than the stock antenna (but I didn't test it super-hard before switching to the NA-771 full-time).

It is what I expected. The performance exceeds my requirements. I am really satisfied with the product and the result. Fair good price for a genuine Nagoya Antenna.

I brought one of these alongside one of the Abree Tacti-cool antennas. Not a lot to difference when it comes to RX but this easily beats the Abree in a straight up TX comparison.

I got this to replace the stock antenna on my Anytone DMR, it fits and works a treat, a definite improvement over the stock, the GPS etc still works, bonus.

Nothing to dislike about this whatsoever.

After examination, I can confirm that the antenna I received is genuine. It performs great, and is much better than the standard antenna that came with my uv-5r

Despite the Other reviews stating this is Genuine i have to say NO it is not. It is labelled Nagoya Antenna NA-771 i wont dispute that but this is worse than the tiny Rubber duck that came with the receiver. I compared them on VHF 135.387 Mhz which is a Weather station and the signal went from Weak to weaker still. Im in North London if that helps. i also compared it on UHF 442.493 Mhz ITN MCR and also a Muslim Chanting channel on 454.100 Mhz all of these are stationary signals and the small Antenna beat this 771 hands down on every channel. I am very disappointed with this Antenna and as such Amazon are getting it back in the same Over sized box in which they sent it.

Good product, not sure if it extends range but seems to be an improvement.

Original Whip Antenna from BTECH . Good reception and transmission on 44/430 MHz. Very good for Air Band monitoring. Recommended.
