I have not been using the tape long enough to comment on the full results of using this tape, but so far, I'd say that it's promising, my scar is still very noticeable, but it's early days.. I had an operation a couple of months ago that left a rather big ugly scar and I was looking for a way to reduce it. This silicone tape sticks to the skin well, you forget you're wearing it.

I’ve been using this silicone scar sheet tape for a while now, its been fantastic experience. The sheet is incredibly soft to the touch and on the skin, you literally forget it's there within minutes. It has just the right amount of adhesion - it's secure but not harsh like traditional plasters. I’ve used it once on my hairy leg, and I was concerned it might be as sore as waxing tape when removing, but it wasn't at all. It comes off smoothly without pulling the hairs, which is a huge plus compared to plasters that can be quite painful. With a roll length of 3 meters, you’ll likely have plenty of tape to cover your needs over a long period. The instructions recommend wearing the sheet for a minimum of 12 hours a day, but you can comfortably leave it on longer. It’s so soft and comfortable that it becomes almost unnoticeable. Another great feature is its colour, which blends well with many skin tones, making scars less visible.The tape can also be washed and reused, which adds to its value. Just be sure not to use it on very new scars, as this might cause some problems such as infection risk and skin irritation. Fresh wounds are often more sensitive and may react poorly to adhesive mater. This tape is priced similarly to its competitors, but it's made to a high standard and delivers on quality.

I got this for my wife for her after C section care. She just started using it so I can't comment on results but the product itself doesn't seem to give any rashes is gentle on the skin, applies well and it removes without residues. Looking forward to see what the results are in a few weeks. and will come and update this review!

I'm not sure why it's listed as scar sheets and that's even on the box because it's a roll of silicone tape intended to reduce old scars (or relatively fresh ones) I'd just call it scar tape. They reckon it'll take 4-6 months on the box for an old scar so there's no way for me to tell you if it works in a sensible amount of time.What I can tell you is it's a long roll of the silicon tape and it's easy to cut into small enough chunks and apply. Unlike normal sticking plasters there's no central section, it's all the same material so you can use as much or as little as will stick to your scar. It doesn't come off overnight or peel away easily and it seems to cope with a shower or two.Fingers crossed it'll do something for the scars I'm trying it with but I shan't expect too much as they're quite old. Any reduction in appearance would be nice though. This tape seems to be of comparable cost to the competition.

I have had Silicone Scar Tape in the past and having run out thought I’d try this Silicone Scar Sheets/Tape for my scars. This is easy to use and you just cut it to the size you need. I have had some success in the past with my scars lessening in redness and looking a little less prominent so I am hoping these scar sheets continue the improvement process as they seem similar to previous products I have tried. I can sometimes find things irritate my skin but I have not had any issues with this product. It is comfy to wear and suits my skin colour so look a bit similar to a plaster, but certainly is much easier to put on and take off and re-use than a plaster. They stay on well overnight on the body, sometimes less well on my legs. I don’t tend to shower in them but they say they are waterproof. You can re-use them to a degree but I have tended to change them for a new one after a few times of using as I take them off for a bath or showering and then replace either with the same one or a new one depending how sticky they are. I have found that these do reduce scarring. The degree of reduction probably depends on the extent and uneveness of the scarring and the age of a scar may also be a factor although I have found these still work to a degree on scars over 35 yrs old. I had a large scar that is still noticeable but significantly less pronounced than before (After 5 months). Overall definitely a product that is worth a try but they are not a quick fix in my experience and do take time to work so you have to persevere to see any results and obviously I cannot be sure they would work for everyone and only relay my personal experience. There are lots of different suppliers of this product and having tried quite a few I can say I have found them to be all quite similar. Whilst slightly more expensive, I notice that this product is unusually long and so bearing that in mind overall, it is one of the better value silicone tapes that I have seen.

Too early to tell what the result will be like.Positives: Instructions are simple to understand. Waterproof. Reusable, so good value for money, especially as this is a long roll. Easy to use. Leaflet provided with more detailed information, including who to report any issues to.Negatives: No evidence provided to support ‘#1 dermatologist recommended scar reduction treatment’, so this could either refer to the use of silicone in general or this actual product. I’m confused about the manufacturer’s credentials; it might be a ‘British brand UK based seller’ but the product is made in China.It’s too early to predict the results of this tape but I’m disappointed that the information provided lacks clarity, at best.

He estado probando las tiras de silicona en mis cicatrices por dos meses y estoy muy sorprendida por los resultados.Hay que decir que las tiras no son un tratamiento para las heridas recientes, de hecho esta desaconsejado su uso en esa etapa ya que no son estériles. Lo aconsejable es aplicar los parches en las heridas ya cicatrizadas. Cuanto más recientes más rápido se notarán los resultados.He aplicado los parches en unas cicatrices que tenía bajo mis pechos, de unos 3 años de antigüedad. Al principio no recomiendan la aplicacion continua, se va incrementando el tiempo de acuerdo a la siguiente tabla (las horas son aproximadas) - Día 1: 2h - Días 1 a 3: 4h - Días 3 a 5: 8h - Días 5 a 7: 12h - Días 7 en adelante: incrementar 2h al dia hasta poder llevarlo las 24hLas cintas se adhieren bien y se pueden camuflar muy bien, cuando se ensucian se pueden lavar y se continúan pegando, en mi caso ya que las cicatrices son muy pequeñas he preferido ir deshechandon y renovando las bandas en cuando lo he ido necesitando.Lo mejor de todo, los resultados; al principio pensaba que era sugestió, pero mis cicatrices se notan menos que antes, no han desaparecido pero están como más difuminados y menos contorneadas. Seguiré usándolas 2 o 3 meses más y actualizaré con los resultados finales.Por lo pronto todo un acierto, una pena no haberlas descubierto antes.

Produit très intéressant, il s'agit d'un pansement sous forme de rouleau, qu'il faut mettre sur une cicatrice refermée.Attention ce n'est pas à mettre sur une blessure récente, mais pour plutôt aider à la cicatrisation long terme, pour que la peau ne soit pas trop boursouflée.Il y a un tableau qui indique les durées de pose. Au fur et à mesure du temps, on garde le pansement plus longtemps. La durée totale peut atteindre plusieurs mois. Le fabricant indique 4 mois si posé sur une cicatrice ancienne.Le prix est plus intéressant qu'en pharmacie, la vraie marque coûte environ 50€ les 150cm

Hier meine bisherigen Erfahrungen.Der Hersteller verspricht eine verbesserte Heilung und eine reduzierte Sichtbarkeit von chirurgischen Narben durch die Verwendung dieses Silikon-Narbenpflasterbandes.Ich habe eine ältere Narbe auf dem Rücken, die durch das Entfernen eines Hautmelanoms entstanden ist. Dieser Narbe wollte ich mit dem Silikonpflaster etwas unsichtbarer machen.Nach 4 Wochen der Anwendung kann ich sagen, dass sich nicht wirklich etwas getan hat. Die Narbe weist die gleichen Verdickungen im Hautbild auf.Nun möchte ich nicht behaupten, dass dieses Pflaster wirkungslos ist, denn nach dieser kurzen Zeit kann man wahrscheinlich keine Wunder verlangen. Laut Hersteller dauert die Behandlung älterer Narben mehrere Monate, bis sich etwas am Hautbild verändert.Insofern bin ich zuversichtlich, dass die Narbe doch etwas unscheinbarer wird.Zum Produkt selbst möchte ich erwähnen, dass es wirklich sehr gut zu handhaben ist. Man kann es passgenau mit einer Schere zuschneiden und auf die Hautstelle kleben. Die Haftung ist einwandfrei, sogar, wenn die haut nicht extra entfettet wurde.Die Verträglichkeit ist sehr gut, ich habe weder Rötungen noch irgendwelche anderen Hautirritationen durch dieses Pflaster.Es haftet mindestens 12 Stunden, habe es probehalber sogar schon 2 Tage ununterbrochen angewendet und damit geduscht, ohne dass es sich gelöst hat.Nun bin ich zuversichtlich, dass sich an meiner alten Narbe doch noch etwas tut und sich das Hautbild verbessert. Allerdings weist der Hersteller darauf hin, dass die Behandlung älterer Narben mehrere Monate dauern kann, weshalb ich weiterhin optimistisch bin, dass sich die Narbe mit der Zeit verbessern wird. Das Pflaster ist sehr einfach zu handhaben. Es lässt sich problemlos zuschneiden, haftet gut auf der Haut und bleibt auch beim Duschen mehrere Tage an Ort und Stelle, ohne sich zu lösen. Die Verträglichkeit ist ebenfalls hervorragend, da ich keine Hautreizungen oder Rötungen bei mir festgestellt habe. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Anleitung könnte ausführlicher sein, insbesondere hinsichtlich der empfohlenen Anwendungsdauer und Pausen. Insgesamt handelt es sich um ein solides Produkt mit Potenzial, auch wenn es Geduld erfordert.
