Used this folding stand to replace the base for the ultimate bike stand I had purchased 20 years ago . Fit the original upper piece perfectly. The base is strong and stable to support working on a specialized e-bike. Great price for the product.

This is a great stand for the price. Ultimate products are known for quality. Keep in mind this is an entry level stand that works best for smaller, lighter speakers less than 30 lbs. It's very light and folds into a nice compact unit, well made and much better quality than other brand stands selling in the same price range. Treat it gently and it will do the job. If you have 40 or 50 lb. speakers, definitely go with the more exspensive models.

I use this at home and did not need to spend more for the easy-lift version. Basically I set it and forget it. No issues. Locks tight.However, changing heights while a speaker is on the pole is extremely difficult. It is best to measure the height of multiple stands before putting the speakers on them.

This stand arrived cracked at its plastic collar. I should have read other reviews on musiciansfriend.com about this problem. Well, the thing is I did not open this item on time, and the return window on Amazon ended.I will see if the On Stage Stands plastic replacement collar will be a good replacement to solve this problem, but that is another expense.Buyer beware! This is not the same Ultimate Support quality from the past, when keyboard players and many stages around the world had their products as top of the line. I would not recommend these stands, and have lost faith on Ultimate stands.I bought the Ultimate Support 15359 Speaker Stand Telescoping Collar Kit from Amazon as a solution to this problem.

I have had two of these for probably 10 yrs and use them all the time. They hold up and are a great buy for sure.

We are a DJ/Entertainment company that has bought several of these speaker stands in the past without issue. This time around we purchased four of them, and each of the four was shipped with a cracked collar, rendering the stand unsafe for use. Four out of four was unacceptable, but we ordered two identical stands as replacements. To my absolute disbelief, the replacements were also cracked at the collar.6 out of 6 defective, from two shipping batches? Absolutely unacceptable, and we will never buy another Ultimate product again, guaranteed. Shame, we use and buy quite a few stands, but this QC is horrendous.(Since we received 6 defective stands, this negative review will be placed on each of the six.)

I was sold on these because of the brand and the size. After seeing a youtube video of Ultimate testing the weight capacity, I knew that I had made the right choice. Also, the model number of these is actually TS-70B,

I seem to have lost 2 of these over the years (or they were stolen) but I quickly buy new ones.I use them quite successfully with my big JBL Eon2 speakers so they are not just for lightweight speakers.
