Perfect for low cost R&D
For low cost R&D: Honestly, getting an 8MP board for this price is very hard to find. When running at 8MP, the video quality does not do well at all with motion. They might do better to have this camera in 5MP for video, and change the driver to only support image capture (ie not mjpeg). But all in all, definitely buying again.

Good for close view.
it is good for close view use case. Not good for hand hold since the image is blur if the camera is shaking.Also the fov is smaller than the phone camera.FPS is low due to the bandwidth of usb2.

Good viewing angle, sh!t quality!
I love how it is wide angled, but the quality aspect is not there yet. I use this to monitor my 3d prints, and often times, it is such bad quality, I have a hard time seeing how well my printer is actually printing.
