Everbuild Opti-Mix Super Concentrate Cement Colourant – One Shot Cement – Easy to Use – Black – 1 Litre

Arrived as specified well packaged and all intact. The bottle was much bigger than I actually expected and for the price it was a bargain. The bottle measures perfectly for you just by carefully squeezing the bottle so for someone like me who is heavy handed and always thinks you should add just a little bit more this was perfect if not a little bit scary! I add 5 very precise capfuls to a 9 litre tub of silver copse wood stain and stirred like a made woman it took a bit of doing but the dye did mix in very evenly, I then set about painting every paving slab with a brush, once the first coat had been applied the second coat was done with a roller on a pole like you would use for ceilings and as you can see from the pictures it has definitely transformed my path. I am going to use a sealer later today and basically sit back and see how long it lasts. My friend gave me the idea and she did hers 18months ago and it’s still holding strong so fingers crossed this won’t be a yearly occurrence but that said I still have loads of the dye left and for £26 for the wood stain and a days graft I’d do it again next year. Much easier to use than the powder options and mixed very evenly so fingers crossed it lasts. Cheaper than a whole new path/patio area.

Had a patio laid in grey limestone and the builders used the black brush in compound, I had enough slabs left to redo my path myself but didn't want to pay another 40 pounds a tub for the brush in type compound so decided to try this and dye my cement grout black instead, you do not just tip this product into your sand and cement, you must mix it in with your water before adding to the sand and cement mixture and just get your grouting to only be damp before filling in the gaps of your slabs,I have to say this product worked fantastic so good infact I'm thinking of re pointing the hole patio using this as I'm not a fan of the brush in compound as this looks so much better

This works far better than the cement colour powder versions, one measure in a bucket full of pointing mortar gave a true black.

Although marked as 'Black' you can achieve shades from light grey to black depending on your requirements. However, getting the right shade can be a bit hit and miss. I used the cement once coloured to fill in awkward gaps in recently laid charcoal pavers. Saved a load of cutting and blends in very well. A litre bottle goes a very long way and is well priced. Would definitely recommend.

Esta muy bien colorear cualquier cemento.

Il prodotto ha restituito un ottimo colore finale molto uniforme, molto meglio di ossido di ferro nero. Resistenza cemento apparentemente inalterata.
