Impressive
Bought for a friend who is a loyal Makita tool user. He needed lights for a late night corn-hole game and this price point fit the bill. They did not arrive in time to use, but have used in other capacities. The dual brightness switch along with USB-A and USB-C charging ports makes this light extremely functional with light out a great distance and over a large area. The only item to note was that even with larger Ah batteries, it will drain them faster than you may expect (+/-30 mins). Was exactly what was wanted and not disappointed at all.

Great value - good performance
Can’t beat the price. Durability might be a concern but this thing cranks out the lumens for sure.

Good work light at a reasonable price
This work light works well with my Makita 18v batteries. It has a three way rocker switch to control the light: Low, off, and high. Both brightness levels are sufficient for most jobs where ambient light is inadequate. The light's battery casing is not high grade plastic, and I was afraid that it might crack while trying to pivot the light. I finally had to pull out the locking pliers and a socket wrench to loosen the bolt so I could adjust the light angle. Not a good design.Despite these flaws, I rated this work light as a good buy based on its price (about $35 at the time of review), and its functionality.

Bright!
These types of lights are pretty common these days. LEDs have really transformed lighting and LED flashlights are so much better. This light is very bright, even on the lower brightness setting. This slides onto a Makita 18v battery easily. It's manufactured for a perfect fit even though this is not a Makita brand light. Another reviewer mentioned a battery drain. This light has a single on/off switch that operates the 2 brightness levels of the light...there is no on/off switch for the USB outlets. So if you keep this connected to a battery all the time, those USB ports draw a tiny amount of "vampire" power. You'll end up with a dead battery. It's not really an issue, just a "feature" to know about. The USB outlets charge my phone in just about the same amount of time as the standard size wall wort does. The light does get warm especially on highest light output but it has a metal handle to keep your hands away from it. Overall this is a great light for anyone with Makita brand or Makita compatible batteries.

I USE THIS DAILY, JUST BUY 2.
LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, I HAVE MANY BATTERIES THAT DO NOTHING, AND I NEVER KNEW THESE LIGHTS EXISTED.NOW, I WORK ON MY ROAD BIKE FOR CYCLING IN MY STORAGE UNIT A LOT, AND I HAVE VERY LITTLE AMBIENT LIGHT, SO THESE WORK PERFECTLY.A 3,000 MAH BATTERY WILL LAST 1 TO 2 HOURS, DEPENDING ON THE WATTS.MY 6-12K BATTERIES WILL LAST FOR HOURS.THE BACK DOES GET HOT AT TIMES, BUT IF I SET UP 2-3 LIGHTS, I CAN DO ANY JOB WITH MY BIKE OR MOVE THINGS AROUND IN THE UINT.EVEN IF YOU HAVE A 120 OUTLET, I STILL USE THESE FOR SIMPLE JOBS, GETTING THINGS DONE, OR NEED MORE LIGHT.I OWN FROM 30 W TO 150W.HIGHER WATTS, YOUR POWER GOES DOWN FAST.A LOW SETTING IS GREAT AND STILL PUTS OUT MUCH LIGHT.IF YOU HAVE BATTERIES YOU DON'T USE, THESE WORK GREAT FOR TEMP LIGHTS FOR ANYTHING

VERY USEFUL LED WORK LIGHT. UNEXPECTED LOW-LEVEL CONSTANT BATTERY LOAD.
VERY USEFUL WORK LIGHTThis light uses Milwaukee M18-style batteries. The stated brightness of the unit I'm reviewing is 5000 Lumens. I did a side-by-side comparison with a Milwaukee M18 GEN-2 work light, Model 2366-20, whose stated light output is 4000 Lumens, and I would say that light output from both is comparable, with the Milwaukee producing somewhat broader "flood" distribution. The light being reviewed is brighter in the center region- not a spotlight, but not as uniform as the Milwaukee. Brightness is essentially constant as the battery is discharged. There are two brightness settings. This light is more compact overall than the Milwaukee product.RUN TIMEI measured battery load current, here are expected runtimes using a 5 AH battery:Low setting: 7 hours. High setting: 3.5 hours. This slightly exceeds the Milwaukee 2366-20 run times for high and medium brightness settings..POWER BANK, AND UNEXPECTED LOADThis light has USB-A and USB-C jacks for service as a power bank for USB-chargeable items, andI find this a useful feature. In my load current measurements, I noticed that there is a small, but continuous, load current of 0.01 Amp with a fully charged battery, and about 0.0075 A with a near-fully discharged battery. This background load would completely discharge a 5 Amp-Hour battery in about one month, or a 1.5 AH battery in just over a week. THE ONLY WAY TO TURN THIS BACKGROUND LOAD OFF IS REMOVAL OF THE BATTERY.SUMMARYI've found this light to be very useful, and I'm likely to buy another. It is easier to position than the larger Milwaukee unit. The current price of this light is less than 1/5th the Milwaukee price. The small constant load of the power bank function means that you should not store this light with the battery attached.

Bright And Useful
I got this to use when I needed the power of the sun in a pinch and this delivers! It's bright, a little spot light like but still has decent coverage. I like the phone charger feature, use this in an emergency.
