Just what I needed!
I love these and I've used them multiple times for different occasions. Having a set of three with different weights is a must have for any garage. They feel really good quality.

Good but not great.
Large mallet 2lbs 3 oz. Medium is 1lb 10 oz and small is 1lb 4 oz. Handles are solid wood but a bit crudely finished. Stain is sprayed and wasn’t rubbed in. The rubber is pretty hard but does have some give if you hit hard enough. I haven’t had the chance to abuse them and will update if I have any durability issues. While they’re 3 sizes I’m not sure there’s enough of a variance to deem it necessary to buy 3.The large one would be nice for setting pavers, it has decent weight for the size and the small one is small enough for finer work.Overall, they will certainly serve their purpose of dead blow hammers. If you don’t need all 3 you can buy a really nice single deadblow and still have cash leftover. I’d recommend these if you catch them on sale, maybe under 20 would make these a great pickup. At 30 I feel there are better options.

Perfect for Woodworking or Tile
As the headline states: Perfect for Woodworking or TileI'm surprised the less than five star ratings! These rubber mallets are perfect for installing wood or vinyl flooring. Also great for installing tile, whether for the floor or on the wall. Can also be used for woodworking such as trim work or cabinetmaking. The rubber is hard enough where it will persuade subtle movement but without breaking or marring the surface. Also the mallets have heavy weight to them for a nice firm strike. There's a picture of a mallet hitting a chisel in the above "DIY" description and that's not what the mallets are for. I cringed when I saw that. I believe that's where all the less than five star reviews are coming from. Buyers' are disappointed that the mallets can't be used as a heavy blow hammer. I can't see it being used in automotive other than bodywork.Anyway these mallets are a really nice addition to anyone's tool kit at a great price.

Budget rubber mallets
These are budget mallets that work ok for woodworking. The head is very malleable and I wouldn't recommend hitting any thing that has sharp angles. These do require a few weeks of airing out in order to git rid of their strong smells. The handle are very smooth and have the cheapest stain I've seen on a wooden tool. These mallets look like something that would come for free in a cheaper piece of furniture that requires assembly.

Know what you're getting!
So, these mallets are very soft - which is what you want sometimes, and not others. It's more for stuff around the house or delicate wood-working projects or something - definitely not on a construction site like the stock photos show. I wouldn't strike anything other than a flat surface with these. But, for 'delicate' hammering situations (always a contradiction, I know), these are great for. They seem well-built, but again, you need to know the heads are on the softer side.

YiYi Tools 4-piece Hammer Set
This set of four hammers is a great set to have around the house. So many useful reasons to have these. I especially appreciate the 20 ounce framing hammer and the softer mallet as well. The handles on each of the hammers feel great in the hand and even have an extra hex screw installed toward the bottom as an extra measure of insurance against the handle coming off.The tine of the hammer goes all the way down inside the hammer, giving that hex screw a secure anchor point. There’s nothing negative that I can say about this hammer set. I, in fact, have another of the same framing hammer and it has been great, so for around the house, these are great quality. Recommended.

Depends on what you want to use them for
If you are just using these to say, tap pieces of wood together, I would say that the heads of these should hold up OK.. But the material that the mallet heads are made out if, if you are using them to say, hit something with an edge, I would say that they will probably break up, start gouging with cuts in them, and possible pieces coming off pretty fast.. A good example, I would not use these to hit the front axle of a car to knock it loose, because that would destroy the head fast with work like that..I do not like the handles.. They are wood, but then lacquered which makes them slippery.. There is no texture or anything to them, which means that they could slide out of your hand while using them.. Flat, smooth, slippery handles are not a good way to go..When i got mine, they were $30, not the current $20 price.. either way, these are too cheaply made for either of those prices.. They have ones that are better made than these, for about the same price, but much better made.. I do not recommend these..

Hammer Time!
$60 is all the money in the world for the typically China sourced tool set, but these are not typical. These are nice.I like the fiberglass handles for shock absorption and elbow saving. The milling/grinding/polishing on the steel head surfaces is nicely done, not sloppy. I'm not crazy about the side nail puller on the demo claw hammer, but maybe it works better than it looks. All around quality set of bangers.
