Love my new mandolin slicer! It is easy to use, built well, stores easily when collapsed and multi faceted with sharp blades. A great gift for someone wanting a mandoline, worth the price. I don't have to worry about slicing my fingers any longer!

I had my eye on this one for a while. After severely slicing my thumb on my other mandoline and a quick trip to the ER, I pulled the trigger and bought this one. It is extremely safe, and I have had no issues cleaning it. It slices like a dream and is easy to change the thicknesses without having to have multiple slicing discs like my old one. The only issue I have is it cannot slice carrots into discs. The shoot that you put the vegetables in is not set up for straight one slicing. Oh well I need to practice my knife skills anyway.
