They work in Linux based OSs.
If you run linux based OSs, this is the wifi adapter that you need. Every distro will see it! It offers great speeds too. it is a really great product! I plugged it in to Mint, and it worked flawlessly. The same is true for MiniOS and even Puppy! It is a really good deal. I may even get more of them!

It just works
I'm impressed with the compatibility and stability of this device. I'm using it on a raspberry pi 5 running steam link, connected to an Asus wifi 7 router on bands 2.4, 5, and 6. I wish this was wifi 7, but 6e is good enough! Setup was easy, just plug and play. Rock solid stability and performance when streaming games from the PC. Would definitely recommend as a must-have if you need better wifi performance than what the pi 5 offers.

Plug and Play? Not working for me with Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS (6.8.0-45-generic) Kernal?
I'm not Linux profession but I've been trying to find external wifi adapter that actually work and easy to use. This one looks promising and I've read comments that said it work well, just plug and play. Simply not the case for me again. I'm running very up to date version of Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS with (6.8.0-45-generic) as the kernal? I don't know what a kernal is but the Quick Start Guide said I need Linux kernal 5.20 or higher. I'm at 6.8.0 I guess and it should work right. Looks I've got one usb wifi adapter to work and it's a low end one with. I've been buying a lot of over promising one and they simply don't work as promised. I'm getting 30 or so mbps right now. I'm buying these to get like 10x that but they just don't want to work. Why? and I'm very sadden by this kind of purchase once again. It's my 3rd or fourth one so far and they aren't working right away as was written in the description. Help or f off with these kind of product made in china or over marketing seller.Edited:I don't want to be hating on y'all but it simply not working. At least have or update the description if it ain't working on 6.8 version of kernal. Some of other product I've seen said "up to" 6.5 Linux Kernal but this product 'Quick Starting Guide' said 5.20 or higher. Clearly I'm either too updated for the product or sh!t ain't working lol. Help

Easy to get up & running with MX Linux 23.6. No drivers to install.... Great product
PAU0F AXE3000.. Received the unit a few min ago, and everything is going 100% Few reviews said they couldn't get it to work in Linux. I had absolutely no problem with MX Linux (23.6)... Maybe saying the process will help a novice get this going. Plug in the device. Go to "Advanced Network Configuration" add a new Wi-Fi with your network settings. Save the config. Then I restarted Linux just to refresh everything. Then I was up and working.... I don't have WiFi6 so my speeds are not super great. But the unit is working @ 120M download, all w/o having to install any drivers etc etc Great device!

Works with Linux mint with kernel 6.11.0-26-generic
I use Linux mint 22.1 cinnamon 6.4.8 with kernel 6.11.0-26-generic. The motherboard i have is a b40am DS3H,and it works well. I went from a Realtek driver dongle to this one with no issues and works amazingly.
