broke but then worked when it was fixed
I thought that the clasp on the front looked a little flimsy and it only lasted about 2 days and then broke. I sawed off the clasp with a hacksaw and replaced it with a more substantial keyring on which the keys were hung. now the keys cant fall off the end of the cable unless the cable snaps but it seems reasonably strong

Great for stopping your phone 'getting away from you'
I bought one for the 'phone to stop me dropping it the river when taking pictures.Bought two more, since it is such good operating/build quality and value. May use them for other things as well.Get serious - make sure you hook it onto your belt, not just a fabric belt-loop on your pants. Get a carabiner.Pros: Well made. Can carry say 400g of phone+case. Magnetic feature pulls the cord back well.Cons: A little bit bulky, if you worry about such things.Summary: Great for stopping your phone 'getting away from you'. Much stronger cable than the ID card/Keyring thingies. Difficult to think how you managed without it. Peace of mind.
