I received the Thumb Drive today and was quite surprised by the "Tiny Size" of the Drive. Looking at the picture given, you would think that it is a normal sized USB Drive but when you get it you will find that it is not even half the size of most of the Drives you might have become used to. I mean, it is really "tiny". My AC/Heating Vents are flat on the ground right beside my work desk and I was scared that if I drop it by chance, it might go right through the vent openings and disappear inside! Thankfully, I found that it is "just wide enough" at the end, to prevent it from slipping through. Still, I am taking no chances; I will try to keep it away from the vent cover.There is another thing about it which one of the users has written about. That is, it becomes HOT when used for some time. It could be because the outer casing is metallic and therefore, we feel the heat a lot more than in plastic drives. Still, the heat is a bit worrisome, if you are going to use it for long. Hopefully Samsung has tested it out and it won't breakdown simply because of heat buildup.The other thing I found missing is the "light". Most USB Drives have some kind of light which comes up when you insert it, telling you that it is securely in place. However, I couldn't see any light in it at all. There is nothing to tell me that it is securely attached and working. I believe they omitted it to simplify the design and eliminate any further heat buildup because of the light itself.Other than the above - which are not really defects but things you might have to get used to - I think this is a very good drive. I got 128-GB for under $15 from a dependable and prestigious company. Hopefully the product will live up to Samsung's reputation. So far, I will recommend.

The metal casing provides both durability and acts as a heatsink when the drive is under load. It can heat up but that's expected during use. I highly advise attaching a keyring or string as the tolerances for the metal casing are tight! The shape was a little odd at first but then realized it helped orient correctly on the first try without guessing or looking.I used this drive daily for work and it's seen a lot of wear being on my keychain. 6 years later and it's finally time to retire it as a daily tool. The internal plug has been starting to slip out on occasion and I'm afraid of it getting stuck in a client's machine. Please note that it's seen abuse being on a keychain with other keys, and plugged in frequently. I'm upgrading to a different metal flash drive with a retractable USB A.

It's a flash drive (128GB). Don't expect miracles. Flash drives are niche product today. If you want to move data offline, SD cards have actual performance specs because the market is more demanding and a USB SSD will also tend to outperform on a value basis.Note: the mount loop will obstruct neighboring USB ports above it.My primary use is to flash boot media for system debugs. Don't expect a flash drive to keep your data safe and you will be pleasantly surprised by their longevity.

great very small size. i like the fact that it is made of metal. appears very durable. i have used it a lot in the past week and i bout it to be able to play videos faster. my standard usb drive plays back choppy, so there is definitely something to be said about the transfer speed of this.

I purchased it in 2019, and it's dead now. It has a five-year warranty, and thus, now it is 2025. 6 years after purchase...They met their agreement...but I hoped it would last longer. From my eye, it looks like it should work, no damage to the parts. It served me pretty well for 5 years. I will miss it. I popped on hear to see how long the warranty was. I suppose I have nothing to Durability:4.9 - Didn't last more than 5 years.Why did you pick this product vs others?:Samsung drives are normally great, I have a T5 and T7 drive and had a very, very small 256 one that I liked...not sure where it went, it's so small and cute. Connectivity:It was pretty fast USB 3.1Data loss:Drive is dead, so the Data was lost after the warranty.Value for money:Good value, a replacement is 22ish on Prime Day but not repurchasing. blazing fast and tiny USB stick - resonable price -- almost too small .. hole to put string and TAG ..It's the size of finger Nail Clippers and disapears on y desk . easy to insert etc - work horse driveIf you really want fastest .. Put an SSD in a Case.. Completely DIFF experienceYOU CAN BOOT and RUN an OS on USB 3 SSDIf you're a big USB stick user and BOOT .. look at VENTOY . You drop ISO etc files in a directory and CAN BOOT ANY OF THEM.. 10ys deveolpment - bulletproof.

Good size and great speed. Using for an OS and it works fine. No issues, big and easy to plug in and pull out. Samsung drives have always done well for me. This one works great, and is a nice size.

Not all flash drives are created equal. This is a second purchase of this product for me because it's a winner.
