My daughter bought these for her dorm room. As she was screwing the bulbs in the string, one of the bulbs fell on her bed's footboard. It shattered like a bomb--striking one person in the face with three shards. Tiny shards were everywhere in the room. I have never seen a bulb explode like that before.
