Q: I would like to detect radon level in my backyard. can i use it outdoor? if not, which outdoor radon detector you recommend?

The Airthings radon detectors are for measuring radon inside your home. Particularly the basement and first floor living areas. I have not seen any outdoor radon detectors. After testing my basement with a First Alert Radon test kit, which came back with radon levels twice the EPA's limit, I bought the radon detector to test my first floor living areas for 30 days to see what the average is. My next step will be having a radon mitigation system installed in my basement.

Q: Can the device store data without being connected to wi-fi and then download when connected to wi-fi? (For sensing in an area without wifi)

The monitor has local storage for about 2 hours in case of Wi-Fi disruption. However, it will need a stable Wi-Fi connection to function other than the occasional outage.

Q: if this senses high humidity, can it turn on my wifi wall switch to the exhaust fan so it can turn on automatically??
