Simple but effective product to help when you have Japanese batteries that require connecting to UK battery connectors.My Suzuki battery connectors corroded and so I bought UK battery connectors and realised the holes were too large so these shims helped bridge that gap cheap but effective.

Made of lead, I think, so handle carefully if altering. They are quite thick and we couldn’t use in the end as much too thick to bridge the gap between the negative terminal and the clamp.

I have a MX5 ND and bought a Bosch 12v battery on recommendation from a parts supplier because my car has some additional electronics in it. The terminals of the Bosch battery were too small for the Japanese car as I had later found out from reading. I bought these sleeves to convert the Bosch terminals to the MX5. The positive terminal was fine but the negative terminal was at least 0.25-0.5mm diameter too small and I couldn’t get a good clamp. The product in short did not work.

We were so hoping these would work but sadly once they were in place on the battery the actual top terminals would not fit back on as the fittings were just too thick.Disappointed.

As said they are a butter to go over Japanese battery terminals to pad out the terminals so that the battery leads can fit on the battery. Tick

Don’t waste your money on this… After filing fettling and sanding to try to get it to fit they went in the bin.Don’t buy.

These should gave bern ok for ny battery terminals,if ya believe the description,but not the case returned for refund
