This definitely helped me dechrome the window trims on my car, the only problem I had was the blade got dull quite quickly which the other blades came in to help.

Bought this in conjunction with window film. The two items were great. The smoother tool worked brilliantly. The little knives were also good but the replacement tips kept falling out if held in certain positions, hence why I’ve given this a 4.

It’s Ok but don’t expect it to last very long. The felt edge starts to deteriorate very quickly. We used it for applying security film on average sized domestic windows. After 5 windows it was leaving smear marks everywhere. Yep it’s solid and a good shape / size but don’t expect it to last. Plan on 5-6 average sized windows per applicator. More than that and it will start to cost you more effort and time than it will save.

I got this for putting up privacy film in my house. It does the job ok, but I expected a bit more padding on the squeegy blade. Tip: don't apply too much pressure or you can scratch the film if it's thin. The scalpel works well :) Good value for money
