I’m not often compelled to give reviews, but I genuinely believe this product turned my cat around. We’ve just undergone major bilateral hip surgery on our 2yo old Maine Coon and after a 4 week period of barely getting any actual food in him (excluding treats, naturally) due to his cocktail of medication, and his outright refusal to eat the vet food, I started looking for other options to get nutrients in him as he’d lost around 20% of his body weight over the past few months and things were getting dire. This product has truly been our saving grace! We’ve been using it for around 2 weeks now and not only is he very happy to eat it, he’s absolutely thrived on it. His appetite is 10 times better than it was, he’s actually eating his regular meals again, gaining weight and is way more alert than he has been for some time. The product itself is a very thick brown liquid, smells like hoppy marmite to me, not unpleasant at all. He didn’t take to it mixed with food, or on a small plate, but after some experimenting, he is very happy to eat it via a syringe like the cat yoghurt tubes he loves. I bought a pack of them on Amazon, then pour some Recoactiv into the little measuring cup provided with the bottle and suck it up into the syringe, he eats it every time! The bottles come well packaged, with a measuring cup for easy portioning and clear instructions on how much to feed per the cat’s body weight. It has literally all the minerals and nutrients they need along with around 2kcal per ml. We’ve had no negative side effects like runny bottoms or sickness and he is typically on the sensitive side when it comes to food. I keep it in the fridge as directed and coincidentally, he seems to prefer it cold, so this is a win in my books. The product is expensive, but it is absolutely worth it in my opinion. I couldn’t be more pleased with it. We have one more surgery to go and I’ve already repurchased another bottle to get him through it. Wouldn’t be without it and it’ll be my go-to now for any periods of recovery we go through with any of my cats.

This has been a lifesaver for my 16 year old boy. He was extremely stressed with a new puppy in the house and within a month had lost 20% of his body weight. I started giving him this and after a week he is back to eating normal food and treats. I honestly thought I was going to lose him. I’ve stocked up on more just in case but it’s helped put weight back on and get him up and about and getting back to his normal self. Highly recommend. I would give him this in small doses with his meals and start slowly weaning him off it when he finishes his usual food.

Really good for cats that won't eat. No nasty side affects as far as I can tell ( although I'm only giving a half dose, as the cat is very small.) Definately perked her up and she's interested in food again. Downside is the price, but when you consider the wasted money on opened packets of food she wouldn't eat, it's worth it.

This saved our kitten! My kitten got really sick and vomit for 2 days, after that he couldn’t eat at all and we were very worried. The vet tried different stuffs and even digestive pate but none of that helped. So we gave this a try and after 2 days of mixing this liquid with his food, he is eating as usual again and very active. It could be a combination of this and other gut medicine we gave him as well but I’m very sure this certainly helps with his appetite.

I bought this for my cat after his second acute kidney insufficiency, previously bought the recovery renal. He's better and the recovery renal helped him when he didn't have much appetite has it has a strong smell but both of the syrups made him having diarrhea and starting to poo under the carpet. They helped and they were effective as from the smell I can assume they got a good taste too but I think a bit too much for my cat stomach. It's good to have for emergency but has I couldn't give much to my cat due to his lassative effect and also because you have to discard it after ten days of opening it would be useful to do a smaller size. So we don't waste product and money

My elderly cat often didn't eat but when I gave her this she perked up. She used to wait for her " wonder tonic" more so than her food or treats. This helped her to put on weight and for a fussy eater she loved the taste. It came on time and well packed. A bit pricey hence 4 stars but definitely worth every penny as never wasted. Unfortunately my old lady cat isn't with us now but if she were I would continue to buy this. It is a must for sickly, fussy elderly cats.

This recovery liquid food was honestly a lifesaver for my 3-month-old kitten during a very difficult week. After becoming unwell, my kitten stopped eating for three days and I was extremely worried. I had to give her liquid food to keep her fed, and this recovery food was one of the things that helped me get her through that period until she started eating normally again. She tolerated it well and I was able to give it to her in small amounts throughout the day. Knowing that she was still getting nutrition while she wasn't willing to eat on her own gave me so much peace of mind. I'm incredibly grateful that I had this product available when she needed it most. I would definitely keep it at home as part of my emergency supplies for my cats.

I don’t think this is suitable for recovery after surgery as I gave my cat this one and small 4ml not the required 10ml dose and made her unwell, it’s too strong for recovering sensitive stomach, rather buy the recovery food as it’s much better.

Lo compré para una garita que tiene gengivitis y desde que se lo doy ha dejado de babear ,tiene que tomar la cortisona pero ya no es tan seguido veo que come más, se lo pongo en un platito y se toma sin ningún problema y es la que más problemas ha tenido para comer según que comida😲, no digo que sea mágico pero me está dando unos resultados increíbles de verdad, yo siempre digo que cada gato es un caso pero con mis 7 gatos a todos les he dado a probar en menor cantidad y les encanta 😍😍😍😍.. resultados, el de los resfriados ya no tiene mocos y respira genial, a el que tenía problemas con su pelaje, ahora precioso y la pequeña con el virus su recuperación va siendo lenta pero su apetito ha aumentado 🥣😁 . Algo bueno debe tener ,creo que no faltará en casa 😻😻😻😻😻💜 haré un vídeo para mostrar su aceptación 💞

Non mi delude mai anche con il mio secondo micio di soli 14 mesi che ha avuto coliche intestinali e non mangiava più. L'effetto si è visto già dalla prima somministrazione rendendolo subito più vitale. Gli è piaciuto subito nonostante sia molto schizzinoso sul cibo 3 e continua a gradirlo! Grazie a RECOACTIV ho potuto sostenere la mia precedente gatta fino ai 21 anni e ora mi ha consentito di far recuperare velocemente il gattino! Consigliatissimo!

Mon chat était terriblement mal en point et son pronostic très sombre, sans beaucoup d'espoir j'ai commandé ce complément car elle ne s'alimente que difficilement en raison d'une anémie terrible, lui donnant beaucoup de fatigue et une grande faiblesse. À mon grand étonnement elle apprécie plutôt bien de l'avaler, aussi j'ai remarqué une belle amélioration de son état depuis une semaine que je lui donne, elle ne devait pas s'en sortir mais elle semble reprendre des forces et je suis optimiste. Ses muqueuses sont redevenue légèrement rosée et sa respiration meilleure, son cœur ne tire plus autant. Malgré le coût élevé je pense qu'il est utile pour les chats mal en point et il s'administre facilement a la seringue si l'animal ne coopère pas. J'espère que ce produit puisse lui permettre de récupérer pleinement, je ferai une mise à jour éventuelle de son état de santé. En tout cas il ne faut pas hésiter à le commander si votre chat est souffrant, ça ne peut que l'aider à se sentir mieux. Il y a 1 mois elle ne pouvait plus tenir debout, aujourd'hui elle joue à nouveau Update : mon chat est totalement rétabli après un très grave épisode de maladie, ce produit a été efficace pour lui rendre des forces et la facilité d'administration permet d'alimenter même les plus difficiles ou affaiblis ! Je recommande vivement pour tout les chats malades et affaiblis !

My 11 year old cat has suddenly lost her energy and was sleeping all day. I gave her this vitamin and in second day, she started to get better!! Today is day 4 and she is so playful and happy!! She is also very picky eater so I was afraid at first. But she absolutely loved the taste of the vitamin! Thank you, we are so satisfied.
