Extra Strong, High Magnetic Catch (4 Pk) - White/Nickel - Magnetic Cabinet Catches

Bought for a second hand China cabinet I bought. The doors were slightly uneven and wouldn’t close completely close. I bought these hoping it would make the doors close and holy crap, does it! It’s almost a bit too strong because the entire cabinet shakes when I open it. Would highly recommend for bigger furniture, not for smaller pieces.

Bought these to replace some weaker ones that wouldn't hold our attic access door shut. They are pretty strong, much stronger than the ones they were replacing, but not as strong as the other reviews would have lead me to believe. Placement of the steel plate had to be *exact* in order for the magnets to have enough strength to keep the door held firmly, and even then we needed two per door. Not terrible, but would have preferred a few more gauss.

I have been looking for a while for a way to keep my screen door closed without having to use a lock as we need access from outside into our mudroom. I searched home improvement stores, online stores and so many other places. I decided to go with a magnet that would be strong enough to keep the door closed but not too strong that would be hard to open or break something when opening the screen door. The reviews on this magnet sounded good so I decided to buy it. It is the perfect strength magnet. I thought I might need to use 2 of them but it turns out there was no need. The magnet is very strong and keeps the door closed no matter how windy is outside, while at the same time making it easy to open the door without any damage. A very great quick fix for such a good price. Very happy that I finally found the right magnet!

I purchased these to use as a catch for a pantry door. I used the magnetic catch instead of a door knob/latch.Since the door is hollow-core and light weight, the magnet holds the door shut perfectly. The only difficulty was in placement, since the door "stop" (part of the door casing) had to have a space cut out to hold the Magnetic Catch... so the door was able to close and the magnet to grab at just the right place.

Man! They are so strong. They hold like crazy. We didn’t use them where we wanted to use we wanted to use them under the tub to have access to the motor and we have tiles there we were afraid we’ll brake tiles to open it. So we used smaller ones. We’ll probably use them somewhere else. (I can’t give them one star because it’s a good thing that they are strong) they deserve 5 stars.

I had a heavy-ish cabinet door that needed extra help to keep closed. These did the trick!
