Best electrolytes for chronic illness
These electrolyte packets are the cheapest and best option for people who need multiple grams of extra salt per day to manage their chronic illnesses. They have been a game changer in allowing me to be more active without passing out. Compared to other electrolyte options, they also taste better, and use only a small amount of real sugar, no artificial (or natural substitute) sweeteners. The packets are very easy to use as well - one liter water bottles work perfectly, and it dissolves quickly.

Very effective, great price.
Way cheaper than LMNT etc. Way more sodium, and at correct amounts. Once you get used to mixing your own for sports drinks, you won’t miss lack of flavor. Plain water, this, and sugar is delicious. Just don’t use the whole packet unless you really want a salty drink. A box lasts a long time because you can make a couple liters from one pack if it’s for sports drink purposes.

Excellent product! Very grateful to Amazon for making this available.
A family member who has POTS secondary to ME CFS uses this to help manage what can be debilitating symptoms. She says it makes the water tastes slightly milky, no problems with digestion. Once mixed is best consumed room temperature within a few hours, otherwise we keep it refrigerated. The pre measured packets make it very easy to mix. The mix dissolves easily in a little hot tap water with a few good shakes. We then add cold filtered water to make 1 litre, and it’s ready to drink immediately. We use one litre glass bottles to mix and store the water. We have found that if it’s stored in a plastic container room temp for more than 6-8 hours it can start to create a bit of a slimy film on the plastic. This product is a critical part of her care and we are incredibly grateful to have access to this product. Thank you Amazon!

Great product for hydration
These electrolyte packets are easy to use and have been very helpful for staying hydrated. They dissolve quickly, taste good, and are convenient to keep at home or take on the go. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable hydration solution.

This Is It!!! If you need to rehydrate quickly
They work very well. TMI but if i know i had not been drinking enough water once I drink one the next time I go to the restroom my urine is nearly clear and the next time after then it will be. The taste is almost flavorless (a little salt flavor) if the water is COLD. I like to mix it with warm or room temperature water and shake well to dissolve and store it in the refrigerator or freezer to grab a little later. If you drink this while it’s warm you’ll regret it. It tastes what I imagine used liquefied gym socks would taste like.

A nurse recommended Trioral for dehydration & electrolyte depletion
Economical and medically useful for dehydration, electrolytes. Contains nothing you don't want (sugar, sugar substitutes, artificial coloring, artificial flavoring) and everything you need. Some reviewers note a salty taste, however, when you make up a liter or two and refrigerate the mixture, the saltiness is not as noticeable...and you can add your favorite water flavor packets if you wish. The product arrived within two days, as promised, and was well-packaged to protect the box of Trioral. I am very happy with this product!

Incredible, amazing, fantastic, disgusting
Trioral, where have you been all my life? None of my medical team had heard of you, you blessed absolute minimalist.I am allergic to citrus fruit and sensitive to only some types of citric acid, making life extremely fun, and making electrolyte drinks impossible. If you haven't done this before, go down a drink aisle and read ingredients. You'll notice a lot of citric acid! The old official recipe from the WHO for oral rehydration solution included citric acid and it's useful as an acidifier, so it's in basically every beverage imaginable except for pure fruit juice and some types of alcohol.Dripdrop, Liquid IV, ORS Hydration Tablets, Pedialyte, NormaLyte, looking at all of you! Oh, we follow the WHO formula! No, you don't. You start with the formula and you add a ton of things to it because it tastes terrible. Trioral has the balls to make it plain and sell it plain and you don't. Trioral gets my business and you don't.The make at home version of the WHO formula is safe, so I'd make it, add some fruit (kiwi has potassium! Not a strong flavor, unfortunately), then try to gag it down because it tastes terrible. Salt pills (but not chews) are mostly safe, and those have been incredibly helpful. I still have to get regular IV fluids to say out of the ER, especially in summer.Trioral doesn't bother me at all, the sodium citrate is apparently completely inoffensive to my immune system. Fun fact, sodium citrate is also the stuff that makes American cheese and Velveeta melt like they do!Trioral is in a simple easy to use packet, and dissolves with a brief shake. No stirring, hot water, waiting fifteen minutes, nothing except a little shake! And it tastes terrible, but not as bad as the old recipe, so I can actually drink it!I'm still desperately trying to flavor it. I tried cranberry juice, which was okay, not great, I think undiluted unsweetened cranberry juice would be better but I couldn't find any on my last grocery trip so picked up some tart cherry and I'll try that next.Anyway, five stars! You go, Trioral! And no, I'm not buying anything with stevia in it, stevia tastes like poison. Also, fix your website, it looks like a child made it.
