It was a fake product, only a pastic box without anything inside, box open, serial number checked on the brand website, expired for 6 years. The most expensive and dissapointing purchase. Extremely hard to get in touch with a human/agent to assist. A total scam

Amazon delivered an absolutely brilliant item in mint condition and proper packaging. Works great and I also want to say the pricing during sale was less than market price at CTC! Compatible with windows and Linux, don't have apple so can't say anything about MacOS but it says it's compatible. Light weight, no heating issues of any kind and speeds of over 100mbps are achieved in all the transfers I did! Quickly copied large files very very easily. Thank you Amazon:)

I received it few days back. So i m giving u my review. Review: First of all do not use this in a USB hub like device that can connect to many USB 3.0. Because that is not enough to power the device and run it. Basically u can or will h' to use this on a dedicated USB slot that is attached with the PC cabinet or mother board. Hope that is understood, because if u do that, then the chances of getting this device would result in a scratching sound and will eventually die out. Good: This is really portable and cute. The more i see it, it feels nice. Its basically plastic and very portable. That is something all the PC enthusiast should look for. Bad: Well just be careful about the USB HUB. And really keep it safely and do not drop it and bang it on the desk. Its kind a fragile and delicate piece. Will give my review again after 6 months of usage, if it can run for 6 month, then i think it will give u a lot of years of service. Edit: My review after 6 months. Ok this Transcend 6TB portable HDD works as stated and it didn't give me headaches. 6TB is a lot although after formatting the new drive, the space gets reduced maybe because it is assigned by Windows and also by GPT fie system. Sometimes I don't know what I am trying to say. But people if u get a chance buy this. Just safe in a pouch and be a little gentle while handling it. Go for it people.

Good amount of storage for the price, its obviously way slower than an ssd but I didnt want to sell a kidney to get one of those. Drive will be used to back up pictures on my nas.
