I really like the quality, big ol' Bowie knife with a damascus blade! Carries good, not poky, great ball bearing action and liner lock. I paid $40, there are good ones in the $20s here on Amazon but nothing near this big. A+ the best big one. Wood is nice, I lol'd at handles described as made of "wood" - what wood is it? Genuine wood I'd say lol

I am amazed that a knife of this quality can be sold for only around $40. How often do you see a beautifully finished wood handle knife with NO VISIBLE SCREWS in the wood? How did they do that? I wish there were more wood handle knives with totally hidden screws. The wood is nicely framed in polished silver metal, and the substantial blade is real Damascus, and impressively done. This is easily a $150 knife... for about one quarter of that price. My only suggestion for improvement would be the "traffic cone orange" colored backspacer is not a good match for the lovely woodgrain and this needs to be replaced with a black colored backspacer (or brown, or silver, or gray, or ivory,... but not fluorescent orange). Aside from that, this knife a extremely impressive, and quite a bargain.

I normally read reviews but don't write them. It's necessary on this knife. It's a very nice knife, super sharp out of the box. I would give 5 starts, except for one thing. IT IS NOT REAL DAMASCUS STEEL. The Damascus pattern is laser etched. It looks very nice, like I said it's a very nice knife and well built, but it is NOT Damascus.

The scales seem to be glued on. Where with other knives they use hardware to hold them on. So if you wanted to take it apart to clean or adjust it you couldn't. Maybe there was a way to take it apart vut I wasn't a fan of it. Felt cheaply made and not a secure lockup either. I wanted to like it, but had to return it. Wasn't taking a chance considering you can get good quality knives for this price. Plus, I didn't even want to find out about the heat treatment, could've been great but I wasn't taking a chance.

This is a perfect gift and a perfect everyday knife! Genuinely great quality material that holds up unlike the cheap pocket knives found at stores. Not to mention the design is unique and can’t be found elsewhere! We’ve got tons of complements on it in just a few months! Strong mechanisms!

It was a gift for my sister, and I really didn't want to give it to her! It was so nice, I really liked the magnet design for the blade release, ive never seen another knife like this one.

The knife is super sharp and it feels good in the hands. Looks great as well, but the action in flipping it open doesn’t have the snap as other knifes do. To add to it mine came with a cracked handle, for sure a decent daily/starter knife.
