According to image #5 the dimensions to the pipe neck that traverses the kitchen sink layer or counter is 1 1/8 in. diameter, you should go with drill bit 1 3/8 inch to give it the needed clearance.

Odor

We have been using ours for about a year now. Has anyone noticed an odor coming from the vent? When I use my dishwasher or I drain my kitchen sink an odor will come up through that vent. It almost smells like stagnant, water or a dirty wet washcloth. Not sure what the problem is 🤷‍♀️
