Osmo 3062C 0.75 Litre Polyx Hard Wax Oil in Clear Matt
I recently had the pleasure of using the Osmo 3062C 0.75 Litre Polyx Hard Wax Oil in Clear Matt. First and foremost, the application was an absolute breeze. The consistency of the wax oil is perfect, making it easy to apply evenly on the surface. Whether you're a seasoned DIY enthusiast or a first-timer, you'll find this product incredibly user-friendly. One of the standout features for me is the clear matt finish. It truly lives up to its name, leaving the wood with a beautifully natural and matte appearance. What's remarkable is that it doesn't alter the original colour of the wood – it simply enhances and protects it. The result is a gorgeous, authentic look that complements the wood's natural beauty. I've tried various wood finishes in the past, but Osmo's Polyx Hard Wax Oil has become my go-to choice. The clear matt option is ideal for those who want to maintain the wood's original colour while providing long-lasting protection. The durability is impressive, and it stands up well to daily wear and tear. In conclusion, if you're in search of a top-notch wood finish that's easy to apply, enhances the natural beauty of the wood without altering its color, and provides excellent protection, look no further than the Osmo 3062C 0.75 Litre Polyx Hard Wax Oil in Clear Matt. It's a recommended product that will undoubtedly elevate your woodworking projects to a whole new level.

Beautiful Matt floor.
I love my newly oiled kitchen floor! This product is amazing and so easy to apply. I wanted a really Matt look and having read all the reviews on here I am so pleased I didn't use the other available brands as it is fantastic. Worth waiting the week for delivery. It does smell a bit. I've been away 2 days and got home to a lovely waft of the oil even though I ventilated the house well when applying. Who cares about the smell when the floor is so delicious to look at! It is only 3 days since application so I'm sure the smell will go but its not unpleasant. I have spilt water on the floor today and it just lay there without penetrating the floor. My kitchen floor (excluding the kitchen units) is 4.5 by 2meters. I was worried a small 0.75litre tin would run out half way through. I applied 2 coats and used 2 thirds of the tin so have enough for another application in the future - good value for money. I applied using the Osmo brush 50mm. Ok for the job but I'm sure other brushes that do not lose their bristles would be equally as effective. Delivery wise the tin came very well packaged and arrived within the specified delivery time.

Getting great results.
This is probably the best hard wax for solid wooden floors. However, it has to be applied thinly and the coating built up and each coat can take a long while to dry depending on conditions. You’ve therefore got to be prepared to invest some time in getting the best results. Ultimately, it’s worth the effort as you get a durable finish that can last for years.

Great finish
I used this on 2 pair of glazed white oak French doors. Very easy to apply and only 2 coats required. Final finish is matt and brings out the grain and colour of the wood beautifully. Much easier to apply than varnish and gives a very consistent surface finish. Touch dry in 5-6 hours, re-coatable after 12. When fully hardened after 10 days or so, finish is wirable and durable for and dirt/marks. Moreover, any knock or damage to the surface is easily touched up without it being in any way noticeable - not like varnish where a complete refinish would be required. Simply the best product I have ever used on hardwood doors.

A high quality and easy to apply varnish / wood finish
This was recommended to me for a wood project I had, and whilst it calls itself an oil, I would consider it a varnish. There is no staining colour - completely clear. 3 coats produces a lovely matt but smooth finish (with appropriate light sanding between coats). It requires brush cleaning with white spirit (not water). Quite expensive, but it's a quality product.

OSMO are great products
The first image is my oak floor. Process of bleaching you can find - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01CK2AGBS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The other images are my oak kitchen worktops that were in an absolute state. Black old, dreadful. I have to sand them completely down. I like to fix and repair, but this was so bad I thought it would have to be replaced. I thought I can try and I am so happy I did. First I used a coat of CLEAR which gave the wood colour back - then a couple of very light coats of OSMO 3040 to get inside the grain and stop it from going orange and a couple of reasonably generous coats of OSMO clear. Stunning results. A year later it is still water repellant. I do wipe it down when I spill water on it, but I also dry things directly on it if I have to. One thing that does give a better finish is to make the area clean from dust and bits. Apply as evenly as possible. NEVER go over areas whilst it is drying. Use a none abrasive scrub pad to apply, use the same pad to remove ‘bits’ from each coat (or a fine grit sand very lightly not to scratch) and allow to dry over night between coats. Love love love OSMO.

Ottimo prodotto
