It scrapes inside itself so much that it does not work. Even after adding my own grease, it's too poorly machined and assembled to turn it.

I had bought an inexpensive deadbolt and lock set for my garage door, and within a short time the part that inserts into the edge of the door went bad. Some metal had bent and I had to pull the lever handle up to be able to open the door (should also be able to push it down). I got this part to replace that bad part and so far it is working great! Time will tell if it holds up or not.

I got this to replace a broken lock for a door and not until I received the item that I realize my door handle+bolt was not standard. So I had to order a new door handle. Just to test item, I use it with the new door knob and it works.

The latch on the doorknob to my garage stopped working. It just stopped opening entirely - if you turned the knob to retract the latch and open the door, the latch stayed retracted an would never pop out again. Took it apart and added some dry-lube and it would open, but then get stuck again the next time it was used.Finally decided to try replacing it, and this latch worked great! Took me all of five minutes to remove the doorknob and replace the latch. It fit perfectly and worked without any issues at all. So much cheaper replacing just this latch rather than having to replace the entire doorknob!
