Rat 1 Olive Drab
Scorpio to Harry Callahan...."My, that's a big one". If you are my age you will know what I'm talking about and that is what came to mind when I first popped this baby open. In terms of what we might call an EDC, this guy is on the larger size but in the best way. I love this hardware and for the price this thing is without reproach. Very smooth and fast manual deployment...the OD is great and the gription is also great. I do a lot of precision work with razor blades....cutting tubing, boxes and various other rubber and plastic so I'm not going to say this is razor sharp.....it is not. I did not expect it to be, but it is plenty sharp for the duty I intend and my various tests today have proven this a worthy daily carry and trusted friend.

Good knife but not correctly shown in pictures.
This is a great knife but the one I received is not the DLC black coated blade as shown in pictures.

wonderful
Great knife! Perfect size for both outdoor work and indoor needs. Comfortable handle. Durable. This is my first pocket knife and the brand was suggested to me by many friends and I'm glad I listened.

This knife is a great value. A $35 knife with the quality of a $100 knife. It is a little big for every day carry but that makes it a great tactical folder. I've had it a month or two and love it. I'm going to buy the rat II next. If you are considering it, just go ahead and buy. This is a quality product and at a serious value.

The knife itself is excellent for its price point
Satin was shipped, not black as pictured in ad and in cart (should reflect in satisfaction with seller not change quality of product). The knife itself is excellent for its price point, great shape of grip, very good action. Scales a little slippery owing to the plastic material (but are also not paying for G10). So well designed that will purchase the upgraded version shortly (carbon fibre and D2).

blade not black no randall rat logo
They don't ship you the knife in the picture which is item number ON8847OD green handles black blade with Randall's Rat knife logo on the blade. Instead you get a unpainted stainless blade/liners knife that has a cheaply painted Ontario knife logo on the blade. The overall quality seems fine but I don't appreciate being tricked into buying the knife. Every one has a stainless blade folder for sale on Amazon but I wanted a non reflective black blade and the Randall Rat knife logo on the blade as pictured. And the blade says model 1 instead of Rat 1
