I haven't had any issues with this and my blink camera. I needed the length for a camera in my basement that I use to stalk my cats. I just secured it to the ceiling with a staple gun and ran it across that.

I installed this charging cable for my Garage Camera which gets alot of use and needed frequent battery changes. The cable is specifically designed to work with Blink XT and XT2 cameras which has a weatherproof seal. You have to first align the micro USB plug into the camera's port and then firmly press the plug in place to make sure a secure connection is made and is also sealed properly to protect the camera from moisture and other external dust and debris. I then confirmed the charger is working via Blink app. Please see the second picture, under the camera general settings, you will see "External Power Source: Good" displayed.With 23 FT of length, this Power Cord and Adapter will go a long way to power your Blink Camera. I am very pleased with the overall quality of the cable and will be buying more for my other blink cameras.

This is really just a micro-USB cable that is very long, has a 90 degree angle at the connection, and fits snugly with rubber ring into the back of my XT2 camera. I am using this with an outdoor plug though and the included USB wall plug is just a cheap generic one and not waterproof, so I am curious to see how long it lasts while being exposed to the elements (3 weeks so far and no problems yet).

This was easy to install to provide a continuous power supply to an outdoor security camera. It came with power cord and power cube only. I used some clips to secure it and I don’t have to be concerned with periodically charging the battery to this camera since this cord allows me to have continuous power. I’m glad I got this and the 2nd one I ordered for another camera.

We were seeking a micro USB charging cable and adapter with a longer, weatherproof cable and a weatherproof power block. This black charging cable is perfect for our needs because not only is the cable 23 feet, but it's also black and weatherproof. We're confident this will withstand our Arizona sunshine 350 plus days year round!
