Genuine Nenette Duster Mop - Ideal For The Car & Around The Home

My mother used to have one of these when I was a child and I had forgotten how lovely they are. I bought it mostly to do my car as I have to leave it on the street and don't want to be polishing publicly for long, so a quick sweep over with this is ideal. I've also used it in the house (as a test!) and had forgotten how brilliant it is at picking up the dust and hanging on to it, rather than spreading it around. Full Marks!

This was to replace one I've had for years. My grandfather introduced me to these in the 70's. He'd seen a chauffeur using one on a limousine and asked about it. Grandads stayed in the garage for his beloved Hillman but mine gets used everywhere in the house TV shelves and so on. It will dust and polish the car/motorbike out and in and by washing it and replenishing the liquid they last forever (well years) a valuable piece of kit well worth the investment. The oil? Leaves a non sticky polish behind that reduces the need for dusting.

Great product but at first when it comes heavily pregnated with the oil that protects and revitalises the wood however you will need to follow up with a clean duster to rub oil off and buff to a glossy shine. Otherwise the wood looks smeary and will attract dust which will stick to it. But after oil dries out you can just use the Nenette.

This is the perfect solution for cleaning the inside of my classic triumph. Run it across the dash, dust gone. I also used it once in the bodywork. I forgot to cover the car and dust had fallen onto the bodywork. It was great for this too, swiped it across the the upper parts, bonnet, boot etc.

I bought my first Nenette mop over 40 years ago and wouldn't be without one. I only wash my car when it has become extremely dirty and just clean and polish it with the mop in between. Every time it comes up sparkling! Providing the car is completely dry you cannot go wrong. Just takes minutes.

I think I can remember these from a long time ago and they worked well. It's early days for this new one and I think it needs to shed a little of the excess fluid that it is treated with. Was a bit smeary on car bodywork but worked fine in the house at collecting dust. The plastic handle is uncomfortable (the old models, I think, had nice wooden handles). My star rating may well increase as it beds in but for now it's OK.

The Nenette Duster Mop is really easy to use and leaves the car bodywork very shiny. Bought two, one for my husband and one for my son-in-law. They are both happy with the mops and do the job they were bought for. I would recommend the Nenette.

These mops are well worth the money for dusting wooden furniture, and a road vehicle, if only covered in dust, after a good washing.
