Good metal just no foundation leading to sharp knives that can hold an edge but will wear fast and break easily. Nice weight to the handle and comfortable grip. I’d say a great set for home. Not so much the work industry

    These will rust immediately if you don’t dry them off very fast after washing.

These are nice looking knives but looks are deceiving. Just opened these up to use on  Christmas dinner. There is a oily coating on them that is very hard to get washed off. In addition, after washing these by hand I missed one little area on one blade when drying them off. Then I came back a hour later and now the spot I did not dry became a rust spot. Now at over a 150 dollars I was hoping that they would hold up better. Now these are going to require a little more attention when they are washed. They will require a slight coat of olive oil on the blade before putting them up. I was not expecting them to be top of the line but I was not happy to see that these are so delicate.
