Nice and tough, well made tank of a knife. Read more below.
This will be worth reading. So, I went on a whim and order this knife back in June 2019. So I can attest to how well it has performed and lasted for almost 6 years now. I always carry a knife tool in my EDC (every day carry) rotation. This one wouldn't be in there very often because of how big it is. I attend to use smaller tools. Everyones different and it is possible. I was doing EDC setupd (Every Day Carry)before it was a popular mainstream thing LOL. EDC basically means what you carry on you everyday, daily. Like keys, phone, folding knife, small flashlight, watch, maybe a bracelet made of paracord (obviously that can be useful), and so on. These are considered EDC.This knife came sharp, exceptionally sharp. Of course, I went ahead and made it sharper using ceramic rods up to 2000, 8000 grits and finishing with strops with white and green rouge. I seen in the picture of that edge is mirror polished and hair popping sharp.A little background, I own probably close to 100+ knives. Most are folding knives. I caught the knife bug, as they say. They are tools and there's something to appreciate about a well-crafted tight toleranced unique tool. First of all Eafengrow has proven itself in the last several years as great brand that is innovative and has some epic designs. For a knife that weighs 5.81 Oz (164 g), you get a lot. Thick heavy frame lock that makes the satisfying "clunk" sound like a door to a safe setting closed. With the length coming in at just over 9 in and the blade length being just under 4 in, at 3.94, I can definitely get a full purchase on it with all fingers. It has some decent jumping on the top side of the handle that also continues on to the blade itself. The blade is thick, flat ground and capable of doing thin slicing and small precision work is possible with it. It's definitely up there when it comes to the fun scale and the open and close fidgeting. For the price, I doubt there are many titanium framed D2 thick bladed folding knives with the tolerance and quality of this one. I would not be surprised to see a knife sold for 3x the price similar to this one.If this knife looked badass to you and you were thinking about it, just go ahead and order it and you will see what I mean when I say it's a tank. If you are a fan of awesome things and EDC items. I would definitely check this out, recommended for sure!!

A lot of knife for the price, with some flaws
This being a proven knife design, you are getting a lot of knife for your money. As with most Chinese knives, something will be sacrificed - in this case, it's the blade steel. Don't get me wrong, D2 is a decent blade steel if the heat treat is done properly. The combination of Carbon Fiber, Titanium and D2, along with a proven design make this a very nice knife.Right out of the box, this knife was a little rough and loaded with oil. Blade was well centered but very dull.Lock-up is about 40% and solid, with no blade play up and down, or side to side and absolutely no lock stick. After a few minutes of working the knife, I realized that the lock access was just not what it should be, there is no reason for it to be hard to access, especially with a Carbon fiber scale on the show side. I have large thumbs.Time to make it mine. Disassembled the knife, cleaned the oil from all surfaces, polished the phosphor bronze washers, took out my Dremmel and gave the Carbon Fiber scale a little more opening at the lock access point. The Carbon Fiber was a little splotchy/dull in spots so, Polished up the Carbon Fiber scale, has a nice even sheen now.I guess all of these things could have been addressed during QC but, not at this price. Reassembled using white Teflon Grease at the pivot and used blue thread locker on all of the screws, originally had no thread locker.IMO, in its current state, this knife is easily worth 4 to 5 Times what it cost and I am very pleased with it.The final step will be to re-profile the edge and bring it to a mirror edge. The only weak spot on this knife is the clip, it looks and feels cheaply made and even though the finish is perfect and matches the titanium perfectly, the design leaves a lot of knife sticking out of your pocket and the knife would benefit from a deep carry clip.I don't think you'll find a better knife, a knife with this level of design and materials for even twice this price so, I would have no problem recommending this knife to anyone thinking about buying one.

Great budget hard use knife
This may be a copy of an overpriced strider knife, but this copy is well worth the money. Great build quality and good materials. D2 steel is not a fancy steel but a strong steel if heat treated properly. Not only will it hold an edge but also not break under stress. If you like the design but don't want to spend $700+ on a real strider knife then you'll like this knife.

Amazing build quality for the price. Looks great right out of the box.
Amazing build quality for the price. Looks great right out of the box. No voids in the carbon fiber or blemishes anywhere on it. Not sure about the steel because I haven't cut much with it yet but the blade is sharp. Hoping it stays rust free without too much babying but it's D2 so it might not. Feels great in the hand. Perfect size for "normal" man hands and lighter than it looks. Action is smooth but not drop shut. Seems tough and should last for years with proper care. Very happy with this purchase and would buy again even at regular price now that I know what I know.
