NOT a 5000 watt inverter
This inverter is advertised as having a power rating of 5000 watts. However, it is actually only rated for 2500 watts with a surge rating of 5000 watts. I asked the seller to correct this mis-information but it does not appear that it has been corrected. I elected to return the unit.

More power . Much bigger than fake rated ones
Works great! Had a 3000w ammeter from another maker, that wouldn't last 3 seconds running a small microwave , at 1100 watts continuous. This inverter , is twice the size and runs the microwave no problem
