Review: Well built and great value! - I wasn't expecting much, but this jig has been great! Well built and a great value. I drilled the 2 holes for the through bolts and it works great. The little allen bolts snug up against the through bolts and prevent them from spinning. Made multiple cuts through a huge doug-fir without issue.
Review: Mills logs with effort. Overall worth the price for small jobs. - I sawed several logs with this tool. It does work. And for the price it is the least expensive milling tool available. I gave it five stars for price/performance. And it hasn't broken yet. That being said, the price is low and so is performance. It is hard work pulling the chainsaw while keeping it all lined up. If you have more than just a couple logs to mill I would consider a different type of log mill, such as an Alaskan style.

I sawed several logs with this tool. It does work. And for the price it is the least expensive milling tool available. I gave it five stars for price/performance. And it hasn't broken yet. Worked as well as the name brand vertical sawmills. It actually cut very straight add an inch thick front to back. Was within 1/16 of an inch. In the picture the ones that are really smooth are from a chainsaw Mill that I built. But the pecky looking red cedar that is a little rougher cut was from this portable vertical Mill.
