Hoover HMC5 4-in-1 Mattress Vacuum Cleaner, Anti-Allergen [HMC510UV]

This was bought on the back of a YouTube channel I seen using it, I was not at all disappointed. It's powerful easy to use and clean and I could not believe my eyes at what it picked up. The amount of very fine dust or dead skin cells ( not sure which ) picked up was incredible. It has uv lights that come on when needed during hoovering and also has a drying function which detects the humidity in your furniture and bed. Scarily it has a dust mite detector that tells you the area they are in and when you have got rid of them. Brilliant bit of kit that I would highly recommend. Suction is amazing, cord length is plenty, it doesn't weigh much and it's not overly noisy as you'd expect really. This is had on a deal for only 70 pounds so for me great value for money.

Bought this a few weeks ago not for the mattress but I have used it on it but the sofa it is brilliant and it is very easy to use. I did not realise how much dirt was in the sofa I am now cleaning weekly with this product good if you have cats or dogs it’s really satisfying to use and you can tell the sofa is much cleaner. The product is super easy to dismantle for cleaning the suction is good. It has a really long wire so no struggling to reach where you need to. The only thing is because the wire is long it does tangle sometimes it is brilliant value for the money and it’s of a medium weight,

Ive bought it a few weeks ago buy have time to try it out now. First of all, there is only minimal printed instructions included which made me think of this is an easy appliance. Well, follow the pictures on how to operate is really easy. But... To make the UV lamp on, you need to constantly push it, especially if its a memory foam mattress /soft surface. Which is equivalent to a good hour of exercise if you are constantly pushing/pressing..... 🫣 But its surprisingly light weight which I prefer. Apart from that, im sure I'll find more on the website of explaining the functions. To operate it, its easy. The amount of dust came out of my mattress and pillows is just wow... And ive done only a quick cleaning. The suction is strong, there is also a brush which needs the tangled hair, etc cut off. The sound is bearable if you need to lean over to press it down. Ive tried it on my electric blanket which is a harder surface compared it to the mattress or pillows. The UV come on almost whithout any extra pressure so I guess If you do your carpet or sofa, its less of a force you need to apply. (I dont have a sofa so can't try it.) I only can recommend to get this and clean the "whole house" with it.... 😉 What I tried to demonstrate on the video is how hard I needed to press it down for the UV to turn on but I couldn't with one hand(!) . Mind you, my mattress has a softer memory foam layer on and with 2 hands it was easy. It has a very long cord, I guess around 5 m whuch is plenty and convenient.

Very good at what it does. Probably the best purchase I have made this year, it really improved my sleep quality and removed a lot of junk from the pillows and mattress topper. The only downside is that the UV light doesn't work because it has a "safety feature" (spring loaded wheels) that stops it from turning on when it's on a soft surface - like a pillow or soft mattress. You can push down really hard and the UV intermittently comes on but it's not great.

Oh dear, I’ve just used it on my bed and it was disgusting. It smells better and even looks cleaner! It reduces the humidity in the mattress, pulls up all the debris from bodies and detects and kills dust mites! The amount of dust and debris was beyond belief! I know this happens all the time dead skin cells etc but I was slightly horrified by what it pulled up! The humidity went from 55 to 32 and the filter parts needed a very good wash. I plan on doing the living room furniture and the dog beds too. Very easy to use, great cable length and remarkably quiet.

Very easy to use, great job picking up fine dust particles,+value for money.

Thought this would be another Instagram disaster but how wrong was I? The machine is simple to use, no faffing about and removes much more debris than using a vaccuum. There is a decent length on the cord and it was as easy as plug and play. The mattress and pillows smell so much fresher, there is a difference even after a single use. This will be a permanent feature in my cleaning schedule.

Solid construction, a proper mechanical button, easy to use, and if it does what it claims to do excellent purchase.

Already does not work. Motor overheats after 5 min
