Using the D cells it seems to work okay. Was easy to set up. Could have used slightly better settings instructions. The cat food is the right size for feeding. Wanted to test it using the manual method. Thought it didn’t work by the instructions the said. Seriously need to be more specific about using the two buttons up and down. By accident it worked perfectly by holding the up button continuously and pushing the down button intermittently for every serving size you want. Other than that it seems to be a good product and not skidding around here. Fits perfectly where I want it and cat is happy so far

Works very well! I like it and its easy to program ! Only bummer is when youre setting it up its beep is loud as hell lol like loud loud but other than that hold about 2/3 of a 5lb bag and stays good in it the lid easily comes off with a little twist ! Best auto cat feeder for an affordable price!

Easy to program and very reliable. I bought it initially to fill in while on vacation and friend came once a day to check and scoop the litter. Worked great. I keep a few cups in it regularly to still fill in even while I'm here. Very satisfied.

Had this for almost a year. Works perfectly, zero issues. I’ve tested the portion sizes and they are accurate (1tbsp per portion.) This is a simple no frills feeder, true to the price. I bought some cheap flat round stainless steel plates (not from this company) and replaced the plastic tray with that.

I like this product but I can’t give it 5 stars. The look of the feeder good. It should fit into wherever you need it (ours is in a corner). It’s not too big and holds a good amount of food, about 1/2 a bag of a 7-lbs cat food bag. I’d recommend getting a pet food mat to go under this though. Not that it’s messy or anything but pets are generally messy so anything that spills out would get on the mat and not on the carpet or whatever floor you have. It comes with instructions, and you really need to read and keep them to ensure you know how to set the right amount of food. The instructions are easy to read and understand though, just make sure to keep the instructions! It dispenses the proper amount of food that you set and the feeder is secure! My cat has not been able to get into it which is good since I’ve seen other feeders where the cat can manipulate the top or internal components to get more food. The biggest issue I have with it though that the feeding times you set get delayed because the internal clock is not timely. I’ve had this for quite awhile now and I’ve needed to reset the clock because it’s slightly delayed. This is a major issue with the functionality of the machine. For example, I set the machine to feed at 7am and 6pm. When my clocks all hit those times, it should feed but after a month or so I’ve noticed that the feeder won’t dispense until 7:03am or 6:02pm. While it doesn’t seem like a lot, this continues to grow and you’ll need to reset the clock back to the proper time so it feeds properly. Cleaning the bowl is fairly easy. It detaches and reattaches very easily but we do notice it gets extremely crummy quickly. It could be the food we feed our cat and how she eats it (blue buffalo tasteful) but at least I know I can clean the bowl easily when needed. I do also like that this has a battery backup for when the power goes out. The power goes out in our area almost every time it storms, and this has fed despite the power outages since I’ve put in the batteries to provide a backup power supply. All in all this is a good machine. I do recommend it just know that you’ll need to keep track of the feeding times and will need to reset the clock on the machine from time to time.

Ça prend un peu de patience pour la programmation mais une fois réussi, ce distributeur fait très bien son travail. Parfait pour mon chat quand je suis absente, il ne manque pas de nourriture. Et le réservoir est d'une bonne grandeur.

This product has been working consistently for a few months. I am using it plugged in (with battery backup). It also worked consistently with the battery (no issues with short-changing the cats on food). I think it uses a proper mechanical dispensing system, not one that relies on a rubber band, so dispensing seems to be quick and consistent. In the digital age, it would be lovely if there was a low level warning. The only think I don't really like is the very loud beep with every push of the buttons to adjust clock, time, meal sizes, etc. Otherwise it is easy to use. The instructions that came with it were helpful. The best benefits: the cats don't wake me up early anymore (unless I let it run out of food). I am using one feeder for three cats. It holds food for more than one week but I now make a habit of filling it weekly. When I am on holidays, this gives my cat sitter more flexibility on when she comes to check on the cats. Side note on battery only: years ago I used an automatic cat feeder that ONLY had a battery option and found it ran perfectly for months at a time before needing to change batteries, so I expect the same for this one.

Great automatic feeder. I've had it for a couple of months now and there were no issues whatsoever. You can set how much portions you want at a certain time. Your pets will never starve as long as you top it up!

Very comfortable for busy life. We love it !!

Cat loves it, easy to program, good price, lets see if it holds up.
