I been using it for a few months already, works great to cover grays and very easy to apply.

I am one to review very generously, but this stuff seriously sucked, and I’ll tell you why while keeping it as short as I can. 1. Packaging was damaged. Not the amazon package, or the box, but the tube was split at the bottom with product oozing out. When I opened the top to squeeze it into a bowl, the bottom of the tube split and more of the stuff shot out all over my bathroom counter and toilet, which was a mess to clean up. 2. There was an extremely small amount of product. I scooped up everything I could, but I had to mix all of the contents with the same amount of conditioner that was in the tube just to get enough to barely cover my head, and I only have chin length hair. 3. The stuff smelled EXTREMELY strong!! I have slightly deformed nostrils, which makes it harder for me to smell things, but this stuff smelled bad enough to make my eyes stream and make me cough hard enough to trigger my gag reflex. I took breaks while applying to cover my mouth with a cloth to breathe better. 4. I left it on for about an hour, but I am seriously disappointed with the color retention. I’ve box dyed my hair many times before, and never have I had such bad results. I should have just stopped and tossed it at so many different points and ordered different stuff, but I’m a broke college student and I had already waited long enough for the stuff to get here. Don’t buy this! It’s not worth it. Save yourself the hassle and spend a couple dollars more to get better stuff.

Works way better than box dyes for covering grey hairs. Used half a bottle and that was more than needed to cover from scalp to mid length hair. Looks like enough for more than 2 uses if portioned out correctly. While rinsing, I also noticed less washout compared to box dyes. Box dyes seemed to take more than one rinse for water to run clear.

Positives: for me it covers my grey really well. I use the black color so you can’t get any darker so that isn’t an issue. Note: I use 10 volume to spare my hair damage. I don’t have any trouble with it washing out but I do have my grey hair grow out so I color about every 3 weeks because I can’t stand it. Using 10 volume I haven’t noticed damage to my hair and the color has been consistent. I did use a dark brown before and had the same results for context. Negative: if you choose a lighter color it does come out about a level darker than it looks like it should. As most hair color does it will stain your skin so make sure and wipe it off right away or you will be scrubbing with alcohol wipes or walking around with it like that until it washes off. Price is only about a dollar or two higher than the beauty store and I’ve had no issue with the quality and I’ve been through a lot of tubes off amazon.

Good product. But it has strong product smell, it requires wearing a mask during the use
