Camco (40055 RV Brass Inline Water Pressure Regulator- Helps Protect RV Plumbing and Hoses from High-Pressure City Water

Does not fit the standard British tap connection found on camp sites. Also threaded push on connectors do not fit on the male end either. Found out too late to return the item. Suspect it’s for America not UK market.

Fit this to the supply tap when using direct water connection to the caravan, prevents high pressure from blowing pipe connections inside the caravan.

Replaced a less expensive regulator which had failed with this one. It worked perfectly right out of the box. The pressure gauge on the cheaper one had previously failed, as leaking water had invaded the gauge and ruined it. After replacing the gauge, the regulator itself stopped regulating. We shall see if the gauge on this Camco regulator stands up to long use. Meanwhile, this new Camco regulator itself seems better made and is slightly more compact.

Excellent, reduces the pressure as needed and expected. I have a fancier regulator with the pressure guage on it and bought this as a backup. Always need a spare in case you forget the one on the line as you're packing up. Worked just as expeceted when I tried it out.
