So I'll start by saying that i returned this item. You may therefore be wondering why I'm still giving this product 5 stars. I'll start with the quality. This pillow is by far the best quality pillow I've ever owned. The memory foam is responsive and softens up after about a week while still providing support. The pillow is firm and your head sinks in after a few seconds. The pillow case it comes in is very soft also and zips. Delivery. This item was delivered promptly and we'll packaged with no real excess cardboard. 'Negatives' These will be extremely nit picky and will outline the only issues with the pillow that I found. There was a slight smell for the first few days as mentioned in some reviews. This however went quickly and really wasn't too bad. The pillow itself is just slightly smaller than a normal pillow and so doesn't quite perfectly fill out a standard pillowcase. This is a very slight difference and I imagine very few people would be bothered by this as it is very very slight, however I know there are ocd people who may be bothered by this. Why i returned it So I returned this pillow for a simple reason. I prefer softer pillows. It took owning this pillow to realise this however. I move around a lot during the night and found the memory foam was just too firm for this to be comfortable. While you're still it's amazingly comfortable but if you move your head a lot it is inconvenient. So I returned it, with no hassle may I add, as I realised that I prefer softer pillows. I genuinely was upset to lose this pillow however as it is an amazing quality and by far the best pillow I've ever owned. In conclusion I would recommend this pillow to anybody looking for a firm pillow with support as it is truly magnificent. Furthermore I'd recommend trying it if you are unsure if you'd like a firm pillow as you have plenty of time to return it and it really is easy. You just keep the packaging and either print off a label for inside the box it came in or write a number on a piece of paper and put that in instead. It's then collected from your door if you choose so. This really is an amazing pillow and I'm sad that I prefer softer ones :(

I am often very dubious about buying pillows, online or otherwise. The problem with reviews is that pillows are a very personal choice. I needed a new pillow and I have wear and tear, as we all do as we get older, that means I cannot just sleep on anything. To help another customer, this isn't like normal memory foam. I had previously a memory foam pillow with a curve on the base that worked sometimes but, if I flipped the pillow over, wouldn't be all that great. So, when I opted for a new pillow I knew I either wanted this one or a Tempur. I'd previously tested a Tempur out and thought, whilst the quality seemed good, I wasn't sure it was much better than a good quality memory foam in JL or the equivalent store and attracted a high price tag. Panda, by contrast, are a very unique pillow and the price is well below its value. On first feel, it is spongey and almost like a feather filled pillow without the feathers, which is great. When you rest on it, the pillow almost morphs around you with enough give that you feel comfortable and supported. It's a bit strange at first, simply because it's not like any pillow I'd tried. It has a space age feel about it, like you can't quite figure out how they get it to give way a bit yet still hold shape. I've read other reviews on here that complain its firm. It's only firm initially, then the space-age foam that this appears to be made out shifts and you find yourself encased. What's great about this if, like many people who need a good quality pillow, you move around a lot in the night the pillow will reshape with you. That, in my opinion, is where PANDA have figured out something clever because there is very little roll when you move. Because the pillow is also surprisingly light, you don't wake up trapped by it either. The size is the same as two cheap, supermarket type pillows in height. If you leave the pillow on a bed, with seconds it reshapes. I'm not entirely sure how they manage this because I've got other memory foam pillows that are typical memory foam. Spongey, comfortable enough but generally not amazing. I can't quite explain what PANDA does so well, but it's material is nothing like the typical memory foam. What I can say is that I've been using it for days and I really enjoy it. I'm glad I bought it, I'll probably buy another one. Oh and as for the people complaining of the smell, which seemed to be putting people off etc. I took mine out of the box, stripped the pillow case off, washed it and then put the pillow on a garden chair for approximately 12 hours each day. I probably didn't even need to do that, frankly, by the second day, there was only a slight smell left and even this wasn't appalling. Any issues, they have great customer service and, honestly, I'd just stick an extra pillow case on over the panda one.

After searching for and buying endless pillows, I have finally found the one. No more thumping and plumping. My head sinks into the pillow in a firm, supportive and comfortable manner and I no longer wake up with a headache. In my opinion well worth every penny.

DISCLAIMER: I sent this item back, and got a refund. Panda then emailed me stating that the product I was sent is faulty, and sent me a free one to make up for it. I have since tried the new one, and can report it is MUCH better. I'm leaving my old review below this one to show the problems with their faulty one. They have NOT asked for a review in exchange for sending me a free one, and only asked that I provide private feedback to them. This is all from me. The non-faulty one is much firmer, and offers a lot more support. It is still a bit thin for my liking, but it is indeed very comfy. I have had a good night's sleep with it thus far. It is a shame that the cover is only offered in white, so it doesn't match the rest of the bedding, but you know this before buying, so it's a bit of a moot point. I imagine they were going for a soft but firm product when making this, as that is how I'd describe it. My head doesn't sink, but it feels wonderful and soft when I sleep on it. I think this can be attributed to the bamboo cover, which is -amazing-. Easily the best thing about this is the pillow cover. It may be a bit too small for a normal pillow, but if you want to make your pillows feel great, and not spend too much, get the cover. If I hadn't got the faulty one first, I'd probably give this 4 stars, so I will put that. The QC on this may be pretty bad, as there are a few other reviews who mentioned this was too soft. The product is quality, and great, when given the right one. The price is still a bit too much in my opinion. It's not too farfetched considering how much bamboo sheets cost, and the quality they must use to get it like this must be quite high. I'd say it's just beyond justified. I'd probably pay £30-35 for it. Overall, it's a great pillow, and I'm happy I have one. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My old pillow has started wearing out, and I thought it's due time that I treat myself with a fancy, good pillow! This one had good reviews and I love a bit of bamboo. When I first received it, it felt quite soft, but I thought I'd give it one night's chance. My god, it was horrible. My head just sink straight down. There was literally no support. It is quite literally, useless as a pillow. Hell, the only chance I'd use this is if it were A LOT cheaper (a few quid), and if I had a decently firm pillow under it.

Great pillow for all sleeping positions. Its got enough height for side sleeping but uts not too high to make back sleeping uncomfortable. everything ive bought from this company has been top quality. I have allergies and generally sensitive skin. Panda products have made it so I can get a good night's sleep without itching.

Used this pillow for a few weeks following a new bed. I was always put off the expense but finally went with it and glad I did! The pillow is thick and firm but once your on it then it will allow you to settle in, moving is fine as it retains its shape quickly. It’s easily preferred over my last pillows, normally duck or goose feather. I prefer a really firm pillow and this suits perfectly. Not sure how much it has changed my sleep with a new bed and mattress but it’s worth the money so far. Only downsides so far it I would like it thicker or deeper it’s just off perfect for me so do have it on another pillow at times but am aware you can get thicker memory foam pillows. The other minor is the shape, it’s slightly smaller than normal pillows so cases I have don’t fit at well but I can get more.

When l first bought this pillow l hated it. I was used to down filled pillows, but due to getting shoulder pain l thought l needed to change to a firmer pillow. The manufacturers encouraged a trial period so l thought l had nothing to lose. Initially, l found it too hard, so made efforts to return it - however the manufacturer got in touch and encouraged me to keep it a little longer and make use of the trial period. I therefore kept it, but didn't persevere with it and it ended up on the spare bed (where it stayed unused for months). A couple of months back l decided to give the Panda pillow another try and l am so glad l did! This pillow has got rid of my chronic shoulder pain. It's great to turn in the night as it keeps its shape and doesnt need to be "bunched up". It also stays cool and the cover is very soft. The pillow has now softened slightly, but remains supportive without being too firm. It gently moulds around your head. It's also great as a back pillow for reading in bed. I have therefore gone from using 2 down pillows to using one Panda. I now love it and even take it with me when travelling. I highly recommend this pillow. I suggest learning from my mistakes...give yourself a little time to adjust to this pillow, you will be glad you did!
