Tamiya 35052 Model Assault Tank Horch 1a

Delivery wa next day and just as ordered. I can't comment on how good the kit is as I've not built it yet. I suspect it's to the usual high standards that Tamiya kits are but I have checked the boxes contents and can't see any reason why I'd be disappointed for the price

Nice vintage kit by Tamiya and an easy build of you want to get painting for a bit of enjoyment quick. I’m Very surprised that after modellling for over 50 years, this is my first tamiya with no decals.I have had the box blacked out before but never completely missing. It is a German import and the seller really should consider this and definitely warn. To the spares box it is.

Model looks ok but was supplied with only instructions in Japanese , Fortunately I managed to download some instructions in English. The instructions were there all along hidden under the sheet with all the hints and tips . Have made the rating back up-to 5 stars

Bought the kit back in September 2024 and only getting round to opening it now, January 2025. To my horror I have just discovered that there are to decals!! Most of my kits have been World War 2 German military vehicles and all have had decals. Very disappointed and seller should have advised in advance that there are no decals.

ＷＷⅡ中のドイツ軍用車です。もともとベンツ共々高級車として名を馳せたホルヒ、無骨だがどことなく品があるフォルムがよく再現されています。Ｖ８の3.8リッターと聞くとすごい出力を想像しますが、実際は80馬力ということですから現在の軽自動車より若干パワーがあるといった感じです。それでも、当時の戦場では頼りにされたことでしょう。 新しいキットではないため、ヒケやバリは仕方ないです。ニッパー、カッター、ヤスリでコツコツ整えましょう。若い方には新鮮かもしれませんが、昔は皆こうして作りました。この値段でこれだけのものが楽しめるのですから買いだと思います。 私はホロを畳んだ状態を選択しましたが、畳んだホロのひもの部分の造形が少し甘い感じがしました。スジボリして凹凸を強調するとそれらしくなります。ロープはタコ糸で、接着剤で強度を高めて形を整えるよう指示があります。通常のリモネンセメントを塗りつけ、完全に溶剤を揮発させたのちに塗装をすれば自然なワイヤー感が出ます。ただ、少しタコ糸が縮んだ気がします。指示の15㎝より長めにした方がいいかもしれません。写真はそのまま組んでアクリルガッシュで筆塗りしたものです。車体はターナーのニュートラルグレイ5をベースに多少調色しています。 ホルヒはアウディと関係が深いです。最近アウディにホルヒモデルが登場したようですが、久しぶりにホルヒの名が世に出たと思うと感慨深いものがあります。

Kit is fantastic, very detailed. Packaging was really well done and got here insanely fast. Tamiya never disappoints but sometimes it really impresses you. Worth picking it up!
